Boozer is disgruntled and pissed his owner off in Utah. They have Millsap who is the future. We can ship out D.Lee and Malik, maybe, and get Boozer! What do you think?!

Boozer wants more money and will opt out this year. Why would we want to spend 13M+ for him?

what is Boozer like on D thats my question.. Does he block shots? Play D? If not then we might as well have just kept Zach.

Booze is more of the Oakly type player than a shotblocker. Rebounder, position type player. But I don't really know his D.

It's lacking. Let's just say that.

Boozer sucks on D and he is a low post player. He isnt going to want to come here and set 70 drag screens a game. Utah should let him walk and pay Millsap

we need a 2-way player on the inside next to lee.. someone who can post up and defend... The other option is.. One player who can post up down low.. another who can defend next to him.. and Dlee off the bench

we just traded basically the same player away for nothing and you want to give up Lee and pay Boozer 20mm a year

I guess this sums it up pretty good:

http://deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,705271576,00.html
"So the Jazz's top scorer and rebounder is opting out of his contract in order to become a free agent next summer. This has to rank with 'chocolate is popular' on the surprise-o- meter. After all, this is Carlos Boozer, the Pick-and-Chooser. Nothing personal, just business. ... Boozer has always been enigmatic. He can be polite yet aloof, never really warming to media or fans. He is a master of the nine-mile stare. He couldn't appear more disinterested if he were assembling cheeseburgers at Wendy's. At the same time, he has never been called a divisive influence in the locker room. Jerry Sloan has never sent him to the showers for arguing. And boy, is the man consistent. You can always count on two things from Boozer: a double-double and dreadful defense."

Boozer is not a chemistry problem like Zach but I don't think we should try to sign him. He doesn't really play post D and not a huge blocked shots threat.

Zach and Milsap are better than boozer.....I made a thread about this before.

Miami needs to send them Marion for Boozer and Mat Harpring....done deal.

I don't want any parts of Boozer.

Good points. The idea was not great at all, downright stupid. Sorry for the waste of time. What the hell was I thinking...

I'll say this though, Boozer is a selfish prick.

Idk..
