From Bree on the Post Blog

"I will choose to focus on the next game... Milwaukee is the most telling game of the season. The Bucks have bested the Knicks twice, but those were not these new Knicks, so if the Knicks are for real and after bringing expectations up several notches in these last 2 weeks, at home against a conference foe with most of the core ready to go and having more than 7 to play...The Knicks will be judged by the Milwaukee game and with extreme prejudice. I will have no love for lack of effort...no moral victories will be accepted.. the Bucks game is the first absolute must win game of the season for these Knicks. If Dantoni wants to say they are a real contender for the playoffs and guys want to talk about chemistry and such..win the Milwaukee game..win it convincingly, otherwise..if they lose that one.. make no mistake the boo birds and bad feelings will be back at the Garden and on this blog... heavy!"

I'm in agreement.
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

As am I. I want to add that this game should be a joke compared to what these guys have just been through, so I'm not just expecting a win, but a big win, as in a blow out.

The west coast trip has benefited us not in wins, but confidence, confidence that the team can build on. I think that they have come out of the last two games feeling and looking like a totally new squad.

I'm hoping you're right.

But my faith in this team is fragile. If this team can't beat Milwalkee at home...

My faith remains strong. My faith never breaks, and is never to be considered fragile. It's what keeps me alive, this stoic faith, the brooding contemplative face I place upon the world as I shave my beard against the grain, and I've called the Laker game as a win for us, and it was, I feel. Now if I could get these lab reports done I might be able to enjoy a Knick game for once, have only seen a handful this season, but everything I've seen so far has been magical, pure magic, pure alchemy.

We WILL blow out the Bucks and their Bogut man. I feel it, man. It might be my narcissism but I feel so damn powerful- I believe I command their fortunes with my posts.

I'm in agreement.

Im in agreement too.

But lets not get too carried away in expecting the Knicks to blow out the Bucks by 50 because each team poses their own problems to us and we have to handle them carefully. This is deffinitely the first must-win game of the season and it will definitely mean a lot for our aspirations this season. Effort and toughness need to be there no matter what.

They should win.

knicks will lose tonight. back to back games, logged heavy minutes last night and expected to do it again tonight, they will tire in the 2nd half.

If the Knicks lose tonight I will cease being a Knicks fan for the rest of my life. You know a team is bad when they lose on nights they don't play.

Looking at the gamepicker it seems like 90% of this forum thinks the Knicks are going to win

a game in the middle of december against a non playoff team is the most telling game of the season?

Knicks should win. The D'antoni way is to play hard and attack using the team concept......make the other team worry about guarding us instead of vice versa.

Knicks should wipe the floor with the Bucks if the Knicks come to play.

Initially, I thought you all were sniffing Starbury glue, but after re-watching the highlight reel of Bucks-Heat, i realized Redd and RJ, with a freak showing in a freak year by Villanueva are not all that frightening. And Nogut is just this decade's version of Big C(o)untry Reeves.

So...Blow out! I want Skiles' head in a basket. I want his house burned to the ground, I want to p*&^% on the ashes!

If N8 would channel a little of the tarzan action, maybe he wouldn't come up short at the end of games?

Considering we've had trouble with them and we've blown a couple of games down the stretch recently yeah I'd say it's a big game for the Knicks.
