Fellas, playing away from the garden & his line is 18 & 8 with 1 turnover. The fans at MSG are just like the ones here. Hate for no reason, love a guy like SPREE who would shoot 3 for 15 with 5 turnovers but its ok, he would get a free pass..... lol.... i'm sure this will disappear quicker then your sisters virginity........ lol.... Don't hate, appreicate !!! Once H20 returns, KVH's game with be even better.
What does DICK CHANEY & DON CHANEY have in common ?? They both accidentally fell into a job they don't deserve & really suck at doing it !!!! Both need to be fired !!!

I don't understand why people want to boo him. He's not responsible for the trade. You can say it shouldn't get to him, but it can't help to have the home fans booing you. I know he's got a history of fading away at critical moments, but I think the fans should give him a fair chance to show what he can contribute to this team before passing judgment on him.

I would like say that if we as knick fans don't learn to move on and deal with the talent that we have instead of the talent that we had we will go nowhere. yeah we all loved spree and didn't like to see him go but he trade might end up being a good thing. I can deal with booing kvh once or twice but the fact is we got him so after a while we need to give him a chance. i remember when spree came over in the trade for mills and starks we gave him a chance to prove himself. maybe the chemistry between teammates will increase. all im saying in let kvh hang himself or prove himself. he didn't seem that bad on the sixers. and cause kmart talked trash about him we hate him. tel you the truth kmart is good but not great. kidd makes him better that he is. you can't go to him in game winning situations. remember when they had stef. the nets couldn't win squat. don't get me wrong the nets are good but we are judging kvh horn on a good role player. how come i never heard kid or iverson say nothing bad about him.

Solutions to the soft labels put on Houston and KVH:

1) Get some tattoos. Makes ya look tougher.
2) Get some scars or something to mess up your skin. My girlfriend commented, "wow, Van Horn has really nice skin." She also said, "Houston's so cute." Maybe that's why we want to hate them-- they're basketball players, they don't need to look like they're finely manicured.
3) Gain a scowl, err, wait, Ewing did that... it didn't gain him fans, but people didn't think he was soft.
4) Scream and get all spastic after every dunk. Pump your fist in the air when possible.
5) Chat with the fans mid-game and start fights with fans of opposing teams.

Spree did have the look of the alien from the movie "preditor!" I think his anti autority stance and attitude was very appealing. He played hard which also helped.

KVH looks like jughead form the "Archies". He can play just fine, just is all goofy with that hair and high black socks. Had an Uncle used to wear his black socks all the way up with blackshoes with his shorts!

KVH in POst article saying the team needs to practice harder.

Knicks be so soft Even KVH gotta go to the press!

I hate when guys get all spastic in first period when dunking. If your over 6-5 and get paid all kinds of jack, your SUPPOSSED to dunk.
Its the JOB! Ok to do it to seal a nice victory. With foul shooting % so low, that might be someting to celebrate.

You know what I hate?

The fact that KVH came out and said something true about this squad and then a player like Anderson who is an overpaid bum has the nerve to say "everybody has opinions." What has he accomplished in his career in the NBA? KVH has helped NJ get to the finals and kept Philly in contention. Anderson hasn't done a damn thing, so where does he get off trying to undermine a player who is much better and more accomplished. I am not a KVH fan but the guy isnt THAT bad. He is a good player, not a superstar. Anderson is just a bum.

Go with it Snowman - great repartee on KVH. and I think he is correct in his comments on the Knicks. Got a chance to see a little of the Spurs game on Sunday and even though they were up in the first quarter, it seemed as though they should have been up by more, much more. The spurs couldn't hit anything and yet kept it within reaching distance. Knicks should have had a 20 point lead by the end of the half.

I would think KT or Ward would have more of a vocal say, but KVH has spoke up about the practice attitudes of some. That tells me how much they miss Houston on the court.Way to start off KVH now when Allan comes back let's see if you two can bring up the score a little.

Of course Keith is right. For three seasons, the five guys on the court rarely look like they've ever met, much less run plays in practice. I'm no big KVH fan, either, but if he can provoke his teammates into playing some tight ball, considering how overpaid they are, then good for him!

Yeah, Shandon, I have an opinion, too. You're lucky you're not super-sizing my fries, b$#ch! Earn your damn money, Mr. Can't-Make-A-Layup-in-the-Finals.

KT plays hard, but Ward is up-and-down. Hey, Charlie, the Lord said to only take ONE day off a week.

I think these guys need a little Ron Artest DNA to get them more angry, not too much or they'll end up in small claims court. If I'm Dolan, I fine them for every turnover and bonus them for every rebound. Of course, I'm not Dolan, I know what a basketball is.

Let's Go Knicks! Time to start acting like it matters!

isn't it funny the guy that we all thought was soft is complaining about how weak the practices are. he is supposed to be weak himself and now he has lit a fire in the club house. that might just be what the knicks need it seem like the knicks are content on being a doormat. as far as anderson, ward, and thomas are concerned they should be the ones who should complain about the slow practices. this outbust by kvh horn tells me something about the work ethic on the team. All this time i thought that the knicks were doing their best to improve and here i find out they are giving a half ass effort on the court. If this is true i bet if we better practices we might have been in the playoffs last year. i don't like kvh but if he keeps speaking up to hopefully motivate the team i'll start to change my opinion about him. (whatever it takes to get this team moving in the right direction)

ps maybe the jersey number has something to do with a leadership role

Jeff has his own problems!HOUSTON -- Houston Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy suspended forward Eddie Griffin indefinitely after Griffin failed to show up for practice prior to Thursday night's preseason game against the Sacramento Kings.

Griffin

The suspension comes a day after Van Gundy met with Griffin to discuss another no-show. The third-year player missed the team's flight to Sacramento on Monday night.

"I met with him [Wednesday] night and I told him he was suspended two additional games," Van Gundy said. "We talked through it and we had a good talk and he understood where I was coming from."

Van Gundy thought Griffin would rejoin the team for Thursday's drill.

"He didn't show up again today, so we suspended him for conduct detrimental to the team," Van Gundy said. "Hopefully, he'll get himself together and get back and rejoin us soon.

"He's an integral part of what we're trying to do and yet what's going on is totally unacceptable."

Griffin told the Houston Chronicle on Wednesday that he missed the trip because of personal reasons. Griffin skipped a home game last season too and gave the same reason when he returned.

Griffin also has an unresolved marijuana possession charge against him stemming from an arrest in April.

"We see this as a very short-term, hopefully, blip in the radar and [want to] get Eddie back as soon as he's able to conform to what we need him to do, which means showing up to work every day, on time and ready to play and play well," Van Gundy said.

Van Gundy said he knows the source of Griffin's problem but would not discuss it. He said Griffin would remain away from the team until the issue was resolved.

"When I talked [Wednesday] it was our intention that he would practice with us and be at games, do extra, " Van Gundy said. "But I think today what's happened, we're going to let him be away from the team until he can get himself together and is able to do everything that a professional basketball player is supposed to do, which means showing up for work on time."

Griffin's absence came at a particularly bad time for the Rockets, whose injury list is long. Cuttino Mobley, Maurice Taylor, Eric Piatkowski and Adrian Griffin already were sidelined.

KVH put up tonight and shutup a lot of his critics, so when Houston comes backmthis duo will be better than the Houston Spree duo of last yr.

Now what KVH critics.. Oh I know... He didn't do it in NYC!!!!!
But just maybe his little "we aren't practicing hard enough" talk did the trick. Even Shandon put up some nice numbers.

LMMFAO...

I was gonna wait for the season to start before I joined in on the commentary but this mess had to be addressed NOW. KVH didn't shut ANYONE up. All he did was play a preseason game. If he produces on a consistent basis (oh yeah, and it leads to WINS), then maybe you KVH heads can have something to gawk about. Now? Please. What comic books have some of you been reading?!?

Set your alarm clocks to the season opener, and from there you can keep track of how he does and how well we do. Reality has a way of waking folks the hell up. Until then, feel free to dream on.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
