Andrei Kirilenko scored 17 points and Raja Bell added 12 as the Utah Jazz beat New York 81-65 Tuesday night, keeping the Knicks winless in five exhibition games.

After a slow start in which the Jazz (3-0) scored just 10 points in the first 9{ minutes, Utah went on a 17-1 run over the end of the second quarter and start of the third.

With the score tied at 34, Utah outscored New York 7-1 in the final 1:31 of the second quarter to take a 41-35 lead at halftime. The Jazz then scored 10 straight to start the second half to increase their lead to 51-35 with 8:23 left in the third period.

Matt Harpring scored 11 points, and Kirilenko and Jarron Collins had seven rebounds apiece for Utah, which led by 18 points midway through the third quarter.

Keith Van Horn led the Knicks with 19 points and eight rebounds and Shandon Anderson added 12.

Looks like KVH had a very good game, and the rookies minutes are getting cut down...at least Lampe's are. 3 minutes?

I don't think the Knicks have shot over 40% from the field all preseason.

hhhmmmm.............. no news paper or fans have anything to say about a guy who shot 7-11 from the field, 1-3 from downtown, 8 rebs & 1 turnover in 28 mins ???? I hear nothing but CRICKETS !!!! GOD forbid if he scored only 12 pts with 5 rebs & 3 to's..................lol...rofl.......
What does DICK CHANEY & DON CHANEY have in common ?? They both accidentally fell into a job they don't deserve & really suck at doing it !!!! Both need to be fired !!!

ALLAN HOUSTON ABSENCE IS MISSED GREATLY. What Allan brings is spacing between knick players, when he's on the court teams must spread out to wherever he is on the court, when he's not there the knicks all bunch up just to recieve passes. Allan hurry up and get healthy.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Do you guys think Matt Caroll has a true chance to make the roster?! I mean he didnt play too bad in preseason! And he gets more minutes than our draftees!! Does he allready have a contract?!

I sure hope Matt Carroll makes the roster. Shandon Anderson CANT SHOOT and we need someone to take that shooting guard spot when Houston needs rest. Being a shooting guard is all about legs and if Allan is pulling down major minutes hes going to tire out.

Let Shandon Anderson take a load off. I realise your trying to let the league see the worth of Knight before he is bought out, but we need to get Lampe some REAL playing time.
