Sene wouldn't be a bad cheap pick up for shotblocking.

Sene wouldn't be a bad cheap pick up for shotblocking.

The problem is that Mike runs with 7 or 8 guys....and a "utility" player like Sene would never see the light of day.

This system demands guys that can do it all....and if those guys aren't available then the volume scorers are going to get the rotation positions.

It doesn't matter if Sene could block 4 shots in 20 minutes of court time. If he can't score then he's going to warm the bench.

i wonder if Shawn Marion would be amenable to signing a 1 year deal w/a team option for a 2nd at a larger dollar amount? he'd make a legitimate shotblocking defensive impact & we all know he would play extremely well in this system.

The NBAPA would have him shot on site if he agree to something like that.

are there any teams that will have the cap space to sign him to a big contract next year? gotta figure AI will garner the most interest amongst all the potential UFA's... dunno how many options Marion would have after a down year like the one he's currently having... it might serve him well to play for a 1 year deal in a system he knows he can excel in, pump up his stats, & then wait for a bigger payday after another year when the economic environment improves & a lot more teams will have dollars to commit to bigname FA's.

If Harrington kept up a pace of 23/25--7/8 45-47%--and of course he has to keep it up--but I can see him being offered something like what Bynum or Jamison got near max money for 3-4 years--example 4 years 52MM$ if you look at this board. Anyone agree with that? Again that is keeping up this type of pace for the next 60 games. He is younger than Shawn Marion and better than Marvin Williams

u talking after this year if he opts out? or after next year's player option season? dunno how many teams will be offering those kinda dollars to Al after this season... i think he'll get about the same as D Lee as a UFA if he decides to opt out after this year.

When I saw he had a player option, I thought the same thing.

The one thing he did say was he wanted to be here past 2010 - so either he sticks around to be here long term, or he realizes he was cap fodder and departs early.
