Knicks, who will you pick?

7'1" Point Guard. That's who you should go for.

If this guy is all he is made out to be... he'll be top 3 pick in 2004, no qualms about it.

there is no doubt in my mind that I would select Emeka Okafor if I had the number 1 pick. Unlike a guy like Pavel, Okafor is physically ready made for the NBA and is an outstanding defensive presence in the lane with impressive size and strength. He's developing a nice 12 foot jumpshot to go along with improving post play. One thing also about emeka he spends MORE time on schoolwork than he does basketball. Many of these foreign players just play basketball--and many college players take easy courses with basketball a high priority. This guy has a Bill Bradley like persona, and you cant have enough guys like that when they are highly skilled as well.

As much as i might admire this guys attitude, i wouldnt want another 6'9" PF on our roster even if he is more skilled than any of our guys may ever be! As long as there are other intreaging prospects on literally any other position than PF id go with them!

WE NEED A YOUNG PG!!!
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Emeka is not the answer at PF. At 6-9 he is NBA undersized - plus he is no ben wallace on defense. He's a short Keon Clark. It's easy to dominate the NCAAs when you are 6-9, because not that many other ballers are. But in the NBA, 6-9 is real small... ask Othella Harrington.

Don't believe everything you read. I stood two feet from Othella Harrington and there is NO WAY and I mean NO way he is 6-9. Im 6-4 and I did not have to look up at him. I was actually taken back at how smallish he looked. he was a BIt taller than me--Im thinking 6-6.

I believe Mcdyess is a legit 6-9 and Van Horn is 6-10.I would bet Thomas is 6-8 and Spoon is 6-5 max. Emeka Okafor is the same size as Karl Malone 6-9 1/2 260. He is NOT a C imho, but a PF like ben Wallace who has much better offensive skills. If I was looking at a franchise player, he is number 1 on my list. I have not seen leoul deng play, but so far Okafor would be my choice running away.
