delfino aka deltron b/c he looks like voltron signed a 3 year contract with a team in russia for $10 mil. raptors still hold his restricted free agent rights b/c he was on a 2 year contract.

he can hit the three from time to time, can handle the ball ok and plays decent defense (draws charges too). he's a good bench player. sometimes he'll go into jock mode and drive you nuts but he is skilled.

plus, he has the perpetual blue steel look going...

A source close to Delfino, the former Piston and Raptor, said that his three-year deal with BC Khimki has an out-clause to return to the NBA. A source close to Pargo, who played a big role off the bench for the Hornets last season, says his one-year deal with Dynamo Moscow -- worth $3.5M -- is a little more complicated and may not be as easy to escape. But clearly he'd be interested in playing in Mike D'Antoni's system here in New York.

Either player would be a good short-term fit, though Delfino might be better because he can defend and shoot the three. Pargo sees himself as more of a headline player and shot-selection is always an issue, though we used to say the same about Jamal Crawford.

The Knicks might not know right away if the NBA will allow them the DPE or instead will rule that Mobley is a medical retirement, which means they do not get the benefit of signing a player for up to 50 percent of Mobley's salary.

This is a clip from Knicks fix, about this subject, Delfino would be better than Pargo, if it came down to that, but I don't think these gusy will come back to any NBA team only to become a stopgap for any team, when they are making big bucks in Europe.
