2 weeks ago: EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - NOVEMBER 22: People wait in line to speak with representatives of the New York Yankees at a career day sponsored by the New Jersey Nets November 22, 2008 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Nearly a dozen companies from a broad spectrum of employers set up booths to accept resumes and speak about job opportunities. The Nets are also providing up to 1,500 free tickets over the next two months to unemployed fans who submit resumes to the team. The Nets then plan to send the resumes to its 120 corporate sponsors. The Labor Department last week reports that the U.S. unemployment rate is now at a 14-year high of 6.5 percent.

Good job outta the Nets.. nice little idea.

That's a nice gesture but you gotta admit that it's a bit of an indictment on their attendance.

No doubt, but hey, at least they are doing something.
