I had Sportscenter on and they say they will be back with breaking news. There is a major trade going down.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

So the trade is Jason Richardson and Jared Dudley for Boris Diaw, Raja Bell, and Sean Singletary. What a retarded trade by the Bobcats.

The Pheonix suns just solidified their team with this trade. They always needed a bonified scorer @ the 2.....they got it. Big time.

lol@ the pusycats.

Getting JRich for the 8 pick was a ridiculous trade and they're about to make it worse. Diaw is a horribly overpaid role player. The rest of that junk isnt even worth discussing. This has LB's fingerprints all over it.

I'm sorry, somebody has got to nut up and slap the shyt of Jordan. Slap the damn taste out his mouth! Yes, he's a legend, yes you will probably be fired, yes you might even get your ass kicked --- but it would be all for the greater good. Jordan has been getting burnt on GM decisions since he put on "the suit"...he'd probably thank you for it later once the sting subsides and he regains some clarity.

i don't see the big deal with this trade. this seems like a lateral move for the suns. i think this also makes the cats a little better. this isn't the d'antoni suns so jrich's acquisition ain't anything special.

during J-Richs career he leaves a lot to be desired, but he will look alot better playing alongside Amare, Shaq and Nash. Not many better 3/4th options in the league than J-Rich. And on top of that, the Bobcats also give up a young player in Dudley.

This has LB's finger prints all over it. Diaw is not the PF they need to play next to Ok4. Not to mention, he still has 3 more years on his contract. Bell is a journeyman. He's an LB type player but for crying out loud, they could have gotten more for JRich than this package.

This trade doesn't make them younger, doesn't really relieve any salary, and it doens't make them better. Dont get it.

i think diaw will play more of a point forward helping facilitate the offense. brown had bell back in philly also. it really leaves charlotte without any scoring tho they may not be done dealing.

I have given up on trying to figure out what they're doing in Charlotte. Nothing they do seems to make any sense. Their trades, draft picks, Coach, GM... Nothing! Everything seems poorly thought out and you never get the sense that you can see a plan taking shape.

Diaw and Bell are role players that blend in, but don't really raise the level of play in any substantial way. Just the fact that PHX wanted to give them up would be a warning sign to me. Those two players peaked out and are on the start of the decline in terms of what you can hope to get out of them. They overachieved for a while and now will slide back into mediocrity for the rest of their careers. I don't see what the point is in getting them.

Felton? Now that Singleton is in tow as the back up, I can see them shopping Felton.

Listening to the talk radio in Phx on the way home, I heard an interesting suggestion that Kerr is blowing up the remanants of MDAs system and that includes being willing to move Amare before he walks away in 2010. Bell was vocal in his unhappiness with his changed role under the new Kerr/Porter regime so I dont think this was a reflection in any drop off in skills.

So are the Knicks positioned to make a play for Amare any time soon?

Larry moved a Francis on Jordan. Now he and his minions will use to explain how Jordan makes foolish moves. All that is left, is the retirement talk from Brown and complaints about his prostate.
