With all this talk of waiving Roberson, Mobleys heart and Marbury... We could possibly have 3 roster spots soon.

Give one to Ewing JR...

One of the other 2 spots should really go to Allan Houston. Why?

Think about how LETHAL a REAL outside sharpshooter would be for this team. I'm talking just someone who can stand outside and HIT the shot consistantly. Can you imagine how many open looks Houston would knock down in this system? How he would spread the floor? He really does not need to be the old Allan Houston he can play the Dell Curry/Steve Kerr role and be sooooo effective. The defense might be a problem, but in spot minutes I can really see Allan coming in and just bringing us back into a game or extending a lead with a few quick cold blooded 3s. What ROberson is supposed to be doing, but Houston has the height and accurasy to actually DO what roberson is supposed to be doing. Not to mention the playoff tested nerves

Dude, he's done. Allan is done. His last meaningful game came in 2003. TWO THOUSAND THREE!!

He IS done!

Bums like Nichols would be more valuable at this point in time!!!!

Let Allan do what he's doing...he's following his father...into coaching. He's doing good being at practice with our guys teaching them the game. He's learning how to be a GM from Walsh.

Allan Houston is doing BIG THINGS behind the scenes for our Knicks. Let that continue. He's done playing pro ball. Let sleeping dogs lie.

I like his role now....anybody notice the form on Jared Jefferies jumpshot? Allan Houston totally refurbished it....when he hit that three in the corner, he looked like Allan houston all the way...Allan the shooting coach!!!

It's amazing how many games we're winning jacking up 3's like this with no real 3 point shooter.

Imagine if we had just ONE 3 point shooter. ONE!

Of the top 45 3 point shooters in the NBA...the Knicks don't have a single one. NOT A ONE!

They very well might be considering him. I'd rather have Almond at this point, but he can definitely provide shooting.

Well, we lead the league in makes and attempts. The issue goes back to what you're saying - we're too reliant on it.

How can he be seriously considered if he can't run without a limp. He's not longer an athlete that can play in a top professional league period.

Could you imagine how many open looks he would give up?

Allan is the man, but he is done. His value now is in the locker room with the guys, I like what they are doing with him and it shows his heart and commitment to the franchise. Long after the contract, he is working and trying to help the team in any way. Some guys would take the money and run, Allan is a good stand up guy and that is exactly what we need around such young players.

I was talking along the lines of 3pt%-- only Al Harrington is in the top 50 in the NBA. We have a lot of makes, sure-- it would be nice to make a greater percentage and actually win these games against teams like the Bulls.

Let Allan keep preparing to be Walsh's successor.
