The Knicks have been wanting a shot blocker for a long time. Will the 76ers trade him once Speights gets his playing time. (Yes I was the guy that wanted to trade down and take him lol) I know the knicks dont want to spend money but you have to have some pieces to reel in a superstar.

Nah...I think the Sixers will try to make it work with Sammy and Elton up front.

You've got your shot blocker/rebounder/defender --- paired with your dynamic scorer/rebounder/defender.

I'm surprised the Sixers haven't been better but I would be inclined to give it a LOT more time than it has already to make it work. It should be working better than it has. I don't see any panic going on there.

As to the Knicks looking for Sammy D? Nope, not at that contract, not since we got away from the "oh if only we pair Curry or Randolph with a shotblocking defender we will go to the finals!!!" dream full of crap.

Isiah should have done that Dalembert trade for Marbury when it was on the table. That being said, I don't think the Knicks will look for any players until they choose who they really want in 2010.
