He's supposed to suck and I'm supposed to hate hiim.....lately? He's been the x-factor....he's inconsistant and he runs like a really big old lady.

I'm not home yet to be posting numbers and such.....but I'll say this, he has stepped up big time when the Knicks have needed him. He filled in @ the 3 while Wilson wasn't really out playing him outright.....now that the Knicks are short handed he's being asked to play the 2 guard. Not really a big deal but the dude is seriously earning some respect from me.....and that is better than those biscuits at red lobster.

When he's healthy, he is what he always was....an inconsistent gunner who'll mix in some really good games with some bad, and he'll hit the boards.

When he's not healthy, he's one of the worst guys in the league, like last year and the first year we was here.

Eny, you're absolutely right here... I think the difference between this season and the past is that the Knicks aren't relying on him to play well. In the past, the team absolutely needed him to play well to have a shot at winning. This season? If they get something, that's great, and the team definitely has a better chance of winning, but it isn't completely necessary for him to have to shoulder the load.

I think it's well known by now that he's not on this team because of his stellar play; he's a great teammate, and that goes a long way (see Marbury- who is a horrible teammate, and see how that goes).

This guy Q, he'll float about on mediocrity for most of the season, but once in a while he'll drop something special. He'll drop a 40 point game on like, 8 or 9 threes, and we all love him then.

He is very important to the Knicks in terms of the culture-shift, the establishment of a Knick mentality that will rival the 90's. He is here as much for his MIND as Marbury isn't.

Q Rich is who we thought he was. A streaky shooter that has lost a lot of speed and defense has begun to suffer. He is better this year because he is more healthy. BTW, with the same Minutes, Chandler has shot better than Q and scored more. They are shooting the 3 at the same clip.

Many have said he's always been very effective with his back to the basket in close. He posted and toasted the smaller AI several times on Sunday. Anytime he's matched up against another 2 his height or smaller he needs to set up down low and they need to give him the ball there. Always heard he had the post up game, but he's very rarely used it as a Knick. It's definitely a strength of his and something they need to feature more IMO, esp. when he's cold from the perimeter. A few makes off the post up will keep him in the game mentally a lot better too...

Q thinks he is better than he is. Thats why he's dangerous. Thats what keeps me from liking the guy too much when he elevates his play to mediocre level. I'd say for most of his Knick tenure he's been utter garbage. This year, not utter garbage. But is that something to applaud?

Q still shoots way too much and therefore negatively impacts the game because he also gets abused on defense. I really dislike Q. He has to understand he's not Kapono shooting all those 3's from there.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

He's been surprising me with some of his around-the-basket moves in the last few games. It seems that every game I watch, Q gets to the hole and finishes. But I never think he's going to finish, he always surprises me. The question is, will he ever get back to the level of play he showed that one year in Phoenix? I don't know, I doubt it. I think it was a fluke. I just realized that I spent the last, like, 3 years, waiting for that Q to show up again. It's over. IT'S OVER.

I HAVE TO MENTION THAT I love Q because he was the only one with enough balls to rip Marbury in public. I thank Q for that. THANK YOU Q.

Posting up was part of Q's game before he signed with Phoenix. With Zach gone and Curry sitting, maybe it's a good idea for Q to post up smaller players.

I think I am the only Q-Rich fan here. I don't see the complaint about him shooting too much. He shoots in rythm and does not force things. He plays good defense both man and team defense. He rebounds really well and he is a tough son of a gun. He will eat your baby. What the heck is not to like?

I'm with you Bocker. I have no problem with Q. He plays hard, he shoots when he's open. He hustles on D. He's inconsistent but so are 90% of the role players in the league. That's what makes them role players. There is a place for guys like that. Not everyone is going to be a consistent star. But I like the energy he brings. And I like that you never hear a peep out of the guy regarding playing time whether he gets 30 minutes or 5. Of course we can upgrade his spot at some point and I'm hoping that we will, but that's no reason for me to dislike Q.
I just hope that people will like me

There's a reason he's open.

If the articles had any credence, it sounded like that would've been a literal occurrence.

i like him too... not a big fan of his but he does play hard for the most part & 1 of the only guys on this team i know won't be backing down when stuff goes down on the court.

That was a crazy play and I give him props for it but you can call me the biggest Q hater on this forum. He is my new hated player.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.
