Judging from all the chatter in their locker room, the Timberwolves are convinced that Gerald Wallace will be coming on board from Charlotte, with Rashard McCants and Jason Collins heading to the Bobcats.

Utter crap trade for the Bobcats. Jordan going for North Carolina guys is just as dumb as Layden going for Utah guys and Isiah going for Chicago guys.

isn't bad. the wolves should be making trades like this because it's not like they can lure free agents. ever.

I guess it doesn't look bad, but it's still the Wolves. We've been admiring their youth since the last few years of KG's reign there.

Love is cool and all, but talk about a F-up in getting rid of Mayo.

Seriously. And why on Earth add that kind of contract if you're Minny when you're still several pieces away. They just need to be patient and continue to build it through the draft, not tie up their cap with millions for nothing more than a decent player. They wouldn't even be adding an all-star for that type of money. Just continue to develop McCants. WOW....

We could beat that deal. If they want more of a veteran presence and they're willing to add salary, maybe try offering them Curry even if it's for junk like Juwan Howard or Collins AND either Kevin Ollie or Mark Madsen. They're fine with Jefferson and Love but after that there's not a whole lot of big man depth to speak of. Or if McHale feels desperate for another wing, maybe move Al Harrington for expiring garbage and possible next year's first round pick...

No, I'm saying we could give Minny a better deal by giving them either the third big they really don't have to play behind Jefferson and Love in Eddy Curry OR we could give them Harrington (who's more or less right there with Gerald Wallace talent-wise IMO only he has a much better contract) for parts and maybe get a future pick out of it. Yeah but as far as Wallace to the Knicks - no way. Don't want any part of his contract. Sorry for not being clear before.

the only trade i would make for G Wallace is Curry & maybe Nate... or Fishlips & Chandler... i wouldn't wanna take on any added longterm money on this roster.
