No. The people who continue to assume that everything is banked on LeBron are idiots who refuse to look at the plan objectively. It's been mentioned that LeBron is plan A, but if we don't get LeBron, there's still plans B, C, D, E, F and G. The people who continue to criticize the plan won't acknowledge those other plans. Again, there are 50-75 NBA players better than our best player at this point. Add one stud to our crew and suddenly we're contenders. Add two and we might be champions.
Unlike before, where we held a plan that had a no chance of success (Isiah), whose plan was to overpay for other team's problem children, we now have a plan where we build through the draft and maintain cap flexibility, while accumulating people with positive attitudes and who are team players, not guys who just try to accumulate individual statistics.
But keep criticizing, because obviously the Isiah years were so great.
