Who are the teams that are trying to do what they can to get under the cap for 2010 and who's trying to build a winner now?

This will essentially tell us who we can trade with and who our competition will be for deals in the next two years.

Trying to get under:
Knicks
Nets
Sac'Town
OkCity

Trying to win
SanAntonio
Denver
Orlando
Boston
Cleveland
Houston
Atlanta
Clippers
Golden State
Philly
Lakers

Portland's a wierd one. They should be able to contend enough to get into the second round, but they are in a great cap situation for 2010 as well.

Detroit just made that AI trade to dump long term salary, but its not clear what they are angling for. How do they eventually upgrade from what they had in Billups?

Memphis is always terribly managed, so who knows with them.

What about Miami? Are they going to try to do something to keep Wade there? I wouldn't think he'd go anywhere but NY/Brooklyn, or Chicago.

I think NJ is in a great spot with Harris and Carter. I think they are building, cutting salary, and they might even make the playoffs.
