I was just reading an article of Lebron James and his commentaries last night, when read one that left me thinking:
“It’s not just New York and Brooklyn,” James warned. “It’s not just a two-team race.”
I thought it was a foregone conclusion that the Nets wouldn't be able to move to Brooklyn by 2010, but he speaks about them as if its still a given that it will happen. Rumors were abound some time ago that some investors, were they russian or something like that, wanted to buy the Nets. What's going on here?
Yesterday when the game ended James went directly to Jay Z and Beyonce to greet them. That's fine, they are friends. But the way James and Jay Z greeted them it seemed like they briefly made fun of the game, like a "what a blowout" or "no contest" commentary. It was something right there that let me know the Nets aren't as dead in the 2010 run as many think they are. Just my perception on that one, but the big question stands.
What's going on with the Nets move because it has the potential to ruin the Knicks parade.
