Im souring up on this whole thing. This is all just senseless hype right now. The Knicks will move on and build a solid team while keeping cap space to sign a star or solid free agent. Like any team in rebuilding, we need to take care of our picks, trade for young players and make sure we are really competitive in 2009. Not that we can't right now, but I must say, the competitiveness has to come from the guys that are expected to be here after 2010. Walsh has a lot of job to do and not that much time, as many may think. I do think its the necessary time, but he can't lose any second.

But for now, any Lebron talk is just crazy. If you see this gou, the way he plays, talks and plans his moves, he isn't thinking about going to NY or staying in Cleveland or whatever. He wants to win and can only think of that. The first team that gives him that chance, he will go/stay there.

The clock is on Walsh and the Knicks to make something else happen.

Its getting tiring already. Its only 2008, for God's sake. The media is turning this 2010 thing into a circus and Lebron is loving it.

The Knicks have more important things to do than worry about the 2010 class and that is improving the talent they have for 2008 and 2009.

it's called maximizing your marketing value... u create a huge hype & build up everyone's expectations everywhere around the league... it's marketing 101... that's how every blockbuster movie is promoted sometimes years before they ever come out... Lebron's not doing anything out of the ordinary here & he's the biggest name in the game right now, let's be real about it... if there's 1 thing Lebron has never failed to do is live up to his own hype, & very few thought he could ever be as good as he was billed to be before he came to the NBA, but he certainly was... this is a special once in a generation type talent we're talking about here, ur gonna have to expect a ton of hype whenever the possibility exists of him switching to another team & rightfully so... i'm sure NY fans aren't the only ones talking about the possibilities at this point.
