Whats up with his status...Jesus if he's out for more then a game or two and i have to endure 25mins of Robertson ( damn your right TMS) pathetic shooting, I will officially abandon the the team until he comes back.... with bench bury in he building MD needs to hide the pride for the sake of the city...We want to win games. For Christ sake, the guy is sitting there fkg waisting away, weather you love him or hate him, I don't care, we have a better chance with him especially in this situation.

Nate has a strained groin and in MSG D'Antoni said he could miss a couple of weeks at most, but obviously that wasn't official news. But I doubt he plays tomorrow. Mobley wont play either. We will be undermanned again against one of the better teams in the league.

It won't be pretty the next couple of days.

If they dont play Benchbury, it's going to get even more ridiculous, both sides need to come to some common ground, cause mike said out his own mouth that if injuries or trades played a factor, he has no choice. Your not going to sit up there get blown out with this 21 million dollar fool on the bench, who's better then any guard we have.

The catch 22 is that once you insert him, you cant pull him for the remainder of the season unless you close your eyes and give him his doe, or some fool ass organazation comes calling.

If steph cared about his beloved knicks he will play, and play to win
If MDA cares about winning games and staying competetive he will play him Business as usual. Not this high school personal BS..

I pulled a groin before too back in high school....its tricky cuz you feel good, but then you try to play ball again and it starts barkin again. It's pretty painful and uncomfortable.....He'll be ok in a few weeks though like D'antoni said.

To put Marbury in the game would be to open Pandora's Box.

Agreed. F it. I'd rather lose a couple of games.

At this point _everyone_ loses if Marbury plays.

I'm sure he'll end up playing again but woe to the team that takes him.

Tomorrow is a blowout anyway whether Nate plays or not so it doesn't matter if Roberson gets heavy minutes.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Let's leave Marbury out of this. It's better when he's not on our minds.

That's a good way to put it. Actually, it's almost the perfect reason not to let that guy suit up again.

I don't want him spreading his disease to any of the new players we have coming to NY. It's much better to just let him rot in the corner, until he is finally gone forever.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Is Marbury even capable of playing? Last we heard, he's got that injury to his pride. Plus, he's so deconditioned he's afraid he'll get hurt if he goes 25 mins. However, he might be willing to tape his ankles if D' asks him nicely, with a cherry on top, and offers to give him a rubdown after the game.

let's just put it this way bro... i'd rather see Robersuck playing 25 mpg for the next month rather than see Marbury take the court for the NY Knicks again.

People, Marbury is in the past. Think of him as Frederic Weiss, no longer part of the team. He will never play another game for the Knicks. trust me, it is a good thing too. For all the misery he has caused the last 4 years, I do not see how anyone. IMO he has more to do with the sorry state of the Knicks than IT. This was his hometown and he came in here like a selfish chump. He will leave the same way.

Yes, we will be shorthanded. It is the breaks of the game. The Mobley situation is a real issue for this team. They gave up 2 guards and got only 1 back and the 1 is out indefinitely. Q will be playing the 2.

Listen, Marbs has a proven track record of taking bad teams in turmoil and turning them around. Why would we not want to give him another chance? He's been great for us.
I just hope that people will like me

You talking about the record of turning them around once he gets on the team or once he leaves? Because I think the latter is better...

A groin injury is no fun. I'm sure he has a lady friend that can massage it back to health.
