If the Knicks do not sign off on this deal, I will chase down Donnie and kick his old ass. I don't care if Mobley is in a wheelchair, the man is 34 years old and has no future on this team. Sign off on the deal and take the cap space. Buy out Mebury and sign a shooting guard off the scrap heap if you're worried about guards.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Who cares, accept him as damaged goods.

I don't care if he's on Meth, has 5 clogged arteries, a tumor the size of a cantaloupe, 2 torn ACL's and a glass eye. Seal the freaking deal.

Great post here. Your criticism of Walsh is spot on. It's not as if he was the one who orchestrated the trades that were ONLY meant for getting us under the cap or anything. I mean, I'm sure he wants to get Zach Randolph back on books in 2010. Good job putting Walsh in his place, GKFv2.

I'm pretty sure we can in fact the waive the physical and hopefully we should. I can't imagine what his injury was though- as he was starting prior to the trade.

Quickly, ask for a first round pick to sweeten the deal!

Hey, let Walsh work his magic. He could pull a second draft pick out of this .

But I agree, the deal has to happen anyway.

Heh. They will probably be like STFU and reverse the trade. Let's not push our luck.

The deal was initially delayed for a few hours on Friday because the Knicks were seeking a first-round pick from the Clippers as well as Mobley and Thomas, but New York ultimately gave up that request.

Hey, you can't say Walsh didn't try. Guess maybe they could sweeten the deal with a pick now. If Im Walsh, I call them and tell them "Well, Mobley failed his physical today..." and stay in line until they say, "Would you like a draft pick with your order, sir?"

Hahaha, either way, it gets done, guys. Donnie knows he has to.

I don't think you go through with the deal unless they throw in a sweetner like a 2010 1st round pick --that would be a core player with 19mm on his contract

trading for these two players thomas and mobley was a risk because they are always injured but if the guy failed a physical--we need something in return--give us Jordan or a 2010 pick.

He was holding out for a first rounder before this. And supposedly he was also talking to the Mavs according to rumor. Lets see what happens.

Haven't seen this anywhere else. I wonder when will others start talking about this.

On RealGM they were speculating that it was Zach, but that was just a rumor.

I see this is serious.
