Looks like we have the tougher schedule in the near term. If the Heat start looking good to slide into that last playoff spot will they give us what we want for a starting Center or PG (aka Marbury or Curry)?

Nobody is going to trade for Marbury and I really doubt Miami will worsen their 2010 cap by trading for Eddy. Some team that's already over the cap for that year is most likely going to take a chance on him.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I agree about Curry, I dont see anybody looking to him as any sort of major solution to anything. Just a role player to fit a particular need. He's just too deficient in everything other than scoring.

I dont see why more teams arent interested in Marbury. He can still ball and you dont have to make a financial commitment to him beyond this year. I've never seen a player bottom out so low based solely on his attitude.

If the hope is Marion for Curry, Marion has an expiring contract. I think Miami would trade for Eddy but not by giving up Marion. Steph is untradeable. Miami will wait and sign him when he is finally waived.

JR Rider.

But you're right, few can compete.

Good example. Marbury's better but , yeah, Rider was a complete mess.

Plus we know Donnie would like to keep his trading partners in the West so it doesn't hurt the Knicks down the road.

Wasn't there a deal offered from Walsh for Curry that Miami declined just the other day? If there was, couldn't that mean that Miami has interest in Curry but didn't want to give back what Walsh was asking in return...or...they wanted to wait until he is healthy and playing before signing off? I thought the offer was legit and not just a rumor. Anybody know if this is accurate and what players were involved?
