looking back at these deals Donnie Walsh must have some really good friends in the league. He managed to trade 2 untradable players to 2 teams who had absolutely no need for either player.
The last thing the clippers needed was a big man, the last thing the warriors needed was a shoot first gaurd.
Makes zero sense, helps the Knicks. Donnie Walsh might owe some favors lol

Well, I agree that GS did not need another guard longterm but with Ellis hurt, they had a shortterm need. As for the Clippers, they REALLY missed a low post scorer. They wanted Randolph bad and the only sticking point was his salary.
Trust the Process

If they can move Kaman for an expiring contract which I think is very possible the deal won't be as bad for the clippers, but taking back someone like wallace/richardson doesn't make them an elite team. That is the worst run franchise in all of sports

I agree that his reputation in the league makes deals less problematic than say Isiah --- but I dont know these two deals are directly attributable to that.
The Warriors are clearly trying to jettison Ellis, so I guess they feel Crawford's a good facsimile. The Clippers are just the Clippers. They're magnetically attracted to stupid moves. You knew they were going to reach for Randolph once Brand asked them: "How does my ass taste"
My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits/ So trust me I'm as live as it gets.
