good question... I think Amare has the personality to succeed in NY but he is fragile. I say Bosh cuz he is a better defender and longer. Him and Lebron on the front court would really just be freakish.

Bosh is just as good a scorer, gets more assists, hits the 3 far better is a much better free throw shooter and is two years younger. No brainer.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Bosh. I think he's got a better skillset and Amare's two microfracture surgeries scare me, especially for a player so dependent on explosiveness.

Amare will want to come here and play with D'Antoni. I think he's the one we go after, though I prefer Bosh slightly.

Bosh on youth and health, but Amare would work, too.

i think Amare's the more likely option, tho i would prefer Bosh like u guys... i think Bosh would rather be the man on his team personally, & that won't ever happen playing alongside Lebron... i can see him going to DET & joining up w/Rip Hamilton & Tayshaun where he can be the man just like KG is for the Celtics.

Amare has had to share his spotlight w/Nash already so he's used to being the bigname sidekick... a Lebron / Amare combo would still be absolutely sick.

I prefer Bosh. I think Bosh is the better all-around player and that will hold up for a long time down the road, while I feel Amare gets by based on his athleticism a bit more.

Just as long as Bosh doesn't bring attitude and is a good team player, then I'd be satisfied.
I'll never trust this' team again.

My choice is Bosh also but like others have mentioned I think we will get Amare because of D'Antoni. Or if the Knicks can't get Lebron or Wade I think there might even be a chance that the Knicks get two all-star forwards. Hopefully Chris Paul signs only a one year or two year deal. if that happens I would just sign one player in 2010 and sign Paul in 2011. I think he is just as important to a team as Lebron right now without the hype.

CP3 already signed a 3 year extension w/a player option for a 4th this past July... he won't be a FA til 2012 at the earliest.

btw, just say we don't get Lebron or Wade, but we do get Amare... i can easily see Joe Johnson coming here to play w/MDA & Amare again too, or even Steve Nash on a lower FA deal... once u go past those guys, there's other names like Manu, Ray Allen, T-Mac & Boozer who will be up for grabs also (definitely hope we don't have to settle for the 2nd teir guys but we do have options)... then u got RFA guys like Brandon Roy, Rajon Rondo & Rudy Gay out there as well u can make an offer to if u run out of other options... i don't see Roy leaving POR tho since they'd likely match any offer but just saying there are other options, options that we didn't have a couple days ago.

I think the best option would be Bosh. He is the perfect talented big man with range, handle and great defensive presence. He is a more talented and healthier Camby so you gotta get him.

And for conspiracy theorists, Lebron and Bosh are close friends and rumor has it they want to play together. Quickly, anyone that finds a Bosh and Lebron pick with NY caps gets a free cookie.

Bosh hands down. He'll be a little younger and a better fit and has a better skill set, but if we can sign LeBron, then I'd rather get Amare because he's better playing off the ball.

Bosh also.

Yeah I also heard that Lebron wants to play with two other stars. So besides Bosh the Knicks might have to pick up another player for Lebron to sign the dotted line. In order to win a title you really need three solid players and great role players to win at all. The Knicks will have to get rid of Curry and not resign Lee for them to sign a third player.

or, maybe gallo or chandler develop enough to be reliable 3rd options.
