Title says it all, can Curry be re-made into a defensive center? He has the size, can he be given a specific role and molded to fit the Knicks current needs?

That's the only realistic hope we can have of Curry. And once it happens you trade him in a nice package.

I think a clearly defined role will benefit him. Now that Zach is gone, I can only hope, once again, that he will realize his potential. We NEED a defensive minded center/post up guy. Can Curry be 'the guy'. I don't know but he is the guy we have. He has an upside, maybe getting back into his 'role' will help him get his head together.

Crushalot - D'antoni doesn't want to have a plotting post presence to open up the jumpshooters......the jump shooters are already open thanks to D'antoni's offense. If Curry comes back you want him sliding and cutting....basically being Amare stoudamire. Having Curry posting up as a focal point screws up everything.

No but he can be made into a 20 pt a game scorer so they can trade his ass...

Sounds like Jeffries is going to be 'the guy'. But if Curry can come off the bench and clog the middle, prevent penetration and get some post up points, he could make a spot for himself.
