Really it is Lebron or Amare or bust. Wade is not leaving and Bosh probably is not leaving IMO either unless Lebron leaves too. Everyone else on the list, other than Joe Johnson will probably be too old to really be worth acquiring if you consider that it will take 1 or 2 years to mold the team into a contender even after you get the championship level talent. We should have gotten more draft picks with these deals. I cannot believe we could not have gotten at least a second rounder with the Randolph trade. I know Dallas is desperate for a trade and Randolph's value was going up everyday he played well and stayed out of trouble. I think that was a missed opportunity. We should have at least gotten Deandre Jordan as a prospect.

I think Harrington for Crawford alone makes us a better team NOW.

Zachs value increased to the point we did not have to pay anyone, nor give away Dlee or a pick.

If Zach had one nighclub mishap in the next few weeks which has nothing to do with his on court stats, his value would have sank again. His history is more of trouble, not his on court performance.

Sometimes you just don't know where a player, or a stock for that matter makes its peak and you sell. his value his high. Donnie likely had a goal in mind that he wanted and once he was able to get it was the benchmark for being a success. If you get greedy, you can end up with less.

Look at it like this, the Clips wanted us to throw in our own first rounder just to give them a 20 and 10 player in Randolph a few months ago. Now, we were able to move him straight up for expiring contracts without giving up any picks. Thats progress. Now if we would have waited, could we have squeezed more, like a 2nd rounder? Perhaps. But what is a second rounder really going to mean in the grand scheme of things? Also, you got to strike while the iron is hot. We have a record over 500. Zach is coming off 25 and 17 rbs games and youo have other teams out there that are struggling more than they thought they would. You have to take the offer now because who knows what the future holds.

The Clips are desperate to improve. If we would have waited, whose to say another option wouldn't open up for the clips similar to the Camby deal that presented itself to them in the summer when we dragged our feet in the summer(good move in retrospect by Walsh by the way).

Also, we still have Lee on the roster who I believe could yield a late first. We still have options.

As older players get too old, younger players enter their primes. There will be new stars by 2010 who right now are just good young players. BTW, I think Dwight Howard is an FA in 2011 also.

Really? I think out of anybody, Bosh has the best chance of leaving. New York vs. Toronto???

Bosh never struck me as a big city type player, and Wade seems like he'd buckle under the bright lights and huge expectations. Guy is always out hurt too.

Unless the Cavs win a title this year or next, I think you can bank on Lebron coming here.

Wade wouldnt be my first choice, but if he's available you have to grab him.

Bosh can be a superstar in NY. I think he comes

that list is wrong... ESPN got it wrong too... that list shows the Free Agents who will be avaiable AFTER the 2010 season, meaning for our purposes those guys are free agents in 2011... the list u need to be looking at is the 2009 guys, when Lebron, Wade & Amare all have player opt outs built into their contracts... Yao Ming & the other guys won't be free agents until 2011.
