That was blatant disrespect to Steph, Im sure this is going to back fire it's just a matter of time. Thats a disrespect to any basketball player who's healthy I don't care who you are, but to not even put him in, I don't care how much you hate the guy you have to agree with me. The fans at an away area was chanting his name for pete sake..

Marbury simply SUCKS!!!!!!! Haven't people had enough of this freak'n clown yet???

I hope they hang onto this punks contract, put him in a dark corner somewhere and make him suffer for the whole year. Out of the way, were he can't disrupt anyone anymore.

who cares man... why do u have this man fetish for showing Marbs respect? the guy's got absolutely no regard for any of us as fans or for this organization, he's all about himself... i think the more humiliation he gets, the better... he deserves it after all the crap he put all of us through.

In my opinion the Knicks are tarnishing their franchise the way they are handling this. Love him or hate him its the Knicks that are looking small. This situation is the elephant in the room and for me, it makes it hard to root for them.

what were they supposed to do? the owner refuses to buy him out at full value & he refuses to take a lower buyout... the coach offered him a chance to play tonite & show he was a professional & he declined... why does he deserve an ounce of respect or regard from this franchise that's paid him a ton of money for being 1 of the most negative presences we've ever seen in a Knicks' uniform? i respect his right not to want to play, he's a prideful guy... i get that, but the Knicks are handling this the only way they can handle it... if Marbs doesn't like it, that's his problem.

It would be disgraceful if they were playing him, like in the past. When we kept trying to accommodate him was when it was disgraceful. But lots of players don't fit, and thus sit.

How many 21m contracts have been waived before?

We should have done this years ago when LB sat him most of the 4th and then wanted to put him in for the final ~4 mins and Steph said no, he was too stiff. And when he tanked that game against Orlando and got like 2 points and 2 assists. When asked why he scored so few points he said because other players were hot. When asked why he got so few assists he said because players weren't hitting their shots off his passes.

I can't say if all this is a distraction to the team or its galvanizing the locker room, but I do think what happens here will benefit whatever team Marbury goes to next. This had to happen sooner or later.

And this is exactly why I liked Brown. He tried to put him in his place, but Isiah and dolan were too stupid. And now Isiah is also gone because of him and dolan was made the laughing stock of New York, as well as the NBA.

There will be no love loss on my part when the blade finally comes crashing down.

Doesn't really matter. When your asked if you want to play and you say no' then that means no to full time minutes and garbage time minutes. We already know how stubborn Marbury can be, so it's no surprise.
