it said the same thing we all are saying on this board. with dice, playoffs. without dice, lottery. i like the early reports of dice possibly being available by the first week of the season. they also had him working on drills and could be scrimmaging in a couple of weeks. they are doing the right thing by not letting him play the preseason games. we do not want any freaky accidents happening again. good news about houston , saying he should be ready by friday. i thought he would be out all of november. we should use the preseason to test our rookies out against the other competition, like phoenix did last year with amare stoudemire. i can not believe the season is starting this week. this offseason went by fast. maybe because my expectations has been severely lowered. well, like another magazine said, the knicks are bound to have good luck soon. lets hope it is this season.

This offseason did go by very fast which I agree might be due to lowered expectations. I remember last year, hoping we would get the #1 pick and win Yao Ming (how sweet would that have been?) and then the Dyess trade, I was excited to see him come and play. However all that went down the drain fast and the season seemed to drag on. This time around I didnt expect much but draft night was decent. Van Horn I wont comment on until he suits up. But overall I think the Knicks are sorting things out. Hopefully over the next 2-3 years the team will start to improve. I just hope it doesnt feel like 10 years.

Something that stood out to me: Chaney's W/L record.

Coach: Don Chaney (322-470 career)

Not good. Why the hell did they resign him? Oh yea, I forgot: IT'S SCOTT LAYDEN DOIN' THE NEGOTIATING!!!

Yippee-freakin'-do. Lottery pick here we come.
