Breaking: Knicks Activating Marbury- More Trades to Follow?

TKB has learned that the Knicks are activating Stephon Marbury for tonight’s game in Milwaukee.
This is significant for a bevy of reasons:
Since Marbury has been banished, this decision is not because they’ve made room for him because of the Crawford deal.
Sources tell us that the team will activate Marbury because another trade is in the works so that the team can dress 8 players- an NBA rule.
As we’ve been reporting all morning the team is discussing a deal with the Clippers.

After dealing Jamal Crawford to the Warriors for Al Harrington, the Knicks are working on a trade that would land Zach Randolph in Dallas.

Jerry Stackhouse has expressed a desire to be traded but his contract is half the value of Randolph's deal.

Unless another player is thrown into the trade, there is a possibility that the Knicks will recruit a third team to make the Randolph deal work.

The Clippers, however, are still hoping to acquire Randolph for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley.

I dont think we should give away Randolph for just ending contracts--the guy has played like an all star and hes 27 21-10 player. He showed what he can do given a solid work environment--he was a team player who played hard AND IMPACTED games

The only player that fills a need and fits our contract parameters is Stackhouse. But, then again, what about Josh Howard? Maybe they're sick of his BS in Dallas and he does have a team option for the year we're targeting...

If we want an ending contract then the only move would be

ZBo and JJFat for Kidd and Bass.

That's 2 big contracts being shed and we get a consolation prize in Brandon Bass.

We cut Kidd. I don't want to see TJ and his big head in the stands. Kid freaks me out. Joumanna on the other hand..hmmmmmmm
