Those guys got tired. I don't think we can ride 7 guys--I think because we lack that superstar type talent--we really could be better off going a steady 9 deep. I really hope for the TEAM that Curry Jefferies and Gallinari can come back healthy--even in small dosages because we need the depth and size.

I'd also like to see Chandler get inside more-- drive it more---get a little tougher and give us some more rebounding and defensive presence. He can do it.

Also I wonder why Crawford took so many shots when he wasn't set. He took like 10 off balanced type jumpers and kept doing it. He started off great and disappeared.

Zach got tired and the Crawford didn't seem to show up in the second half (or maybe it was the 4th quarter). And Nate was off.

Jefferies should help, Gallo would be nice and I hope the heck Curry can learn to box out, rebound, not create a boatload of offensive fouls and get into shape.

When it comes to hoping for all that.... well.... let's just say Pandora's Box has been open for a while.

we need a guard who can finish strong at the rim and/or get to the line consistently esp in the 4th
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

If only we had one sitting on our bench. Oh well.

But someone like Jefferies would have been really helpful tonight for guarding Dirk. Our players couldn't really do anything tonight against him except hope he missed, which obviously isn't the best strategy

why dont we ditch the dead weight on this team like LB had suggested? marbs, JJ1, curry...

Craf 5 from 19 and Nate 3 of 11… and we still were in OT?
This is VERY GOOD result.
We lost the game but... we have 7 players who really can play.

Mavs 3 stars (Dirk, Howard, and Terry) combined for 90 points out of 124!!!
Mavs are really in trouble... if this 3 will not get any help they will drop a lot of games.

We have no problems offensively even with what we have...
We cannot stop anybody and this is the problem.

A real big problem with the Mavs--one they cant take back is giving up Harris for Kidd. Jason Kidd is close to shot and Devin Harris is averaging 23 points 6 assists 4 rebounds with good D and hes 10 years younger. It's one thing if Harris did not show any potential but they got killed in that trade and the ramifications will last years.

I dont know what the Knicks will do about the inside long term but getting back 3 6-11 guys will help the team this year. Even a little help could turn a L-W.

No matter what--I think we were up 7 with 2 and small change and lost--I put this in the category that we blew the game.

we really coughed that game up.. to many jumpers late. Zach must have been tired because we desperately needed a post presense on offense and ended clanging a bunch of jumpers.

Eddy would make a good bench player. He can save Zach some minutes and give him a nice rest late in the 3rd and say 5-6 minutes into the 4th. Regardless of what shape he is in. I am talking 15-18 minutes

I want curry gone.. If the wizards would do Mcgee for curry, I would do it in a heartbeat.... I just don't think curry cares about staying in shape..

either him or Blatche would be great but we would have to take back salary. That means both Etan Thomas and Haywood. One is hurt and they hate each other. Both expire before 2010 and it would open trades for Lee and Zach, especially if you could get picks back

Agreed. It was a boneheaded, panic trade if I've ever seen one.

The kind of trade I hope rid us of Curry and bring us ANY kind of value back.

I agree with that wholeheartedly. He has his faults- but I think we're all comfortable with the fact that he's not gonna be a frontline player. Doesn't mean we can't use him. We are lacking a big physical presence, and we can at least use Curry to take advantage of some size mismatches and take some pressure of Zach.

Completely agree with both of you. Not to mention that he could be showcased, prove he is healthy enough to play for any other team and hopefully a deal will happen. Now, the question is, is he healthy? He should be close now after sitting so many games. And if that's the case and he isn't totally in shape, let him play a little in those 15-18 minutes. If you even want to run a halfcourt offense, he is the right guy to get easy scores with that.
