I am a non believer in the D-League until it is like MLB.... where our DLeague team is OURS and OURS only... and we can call up and send down whoever we want! Injured player? Send him down to shake off the rust against other scrubs! Young kid? Send him down to learn the ropes. Need some changes? Call up anyone you want to the roster!

Until it is like that? Like MLB? Screw the NBDL!

You're better off waiving a useless player and keeping your prospect on the "pro" roster.
