Knick rookie Danilo Gallinari will now only play in blowout situations, coach Mike D'Antoni confirmed to the New York Post. A guess a few called for it. Good move for now. Let him get his legs back. Posted by earthmansurfer: I didn't bother reading the article because it is a Berman piece. Fact of the matter is that the other writers explained thoroughly that Danilo is working out his legs and getting up to "NBA speed"... he was not "yanked" from the rotation as the article title implies there was some forcefulness to the move... it has been revealed that he is not being played (and hasn't since the first game (way to go Berman with your investigative reporting) because he needs more practice time... Moral of the story: Berman covers the Knicks, but doesn't like the Knicks and derogates their actions at every opportunity. I think most of us would agree that getting up to speed (even if in D-League) is in Gallo's best interest. You know I gonna spin wit it

I feel like I can't get excited to see him play because i'll likely be dissapointed cause he'll have back problems throughout his career

nyk4ever, I rather watch Gallinari sit at the scorer's table then watch Malik get minutes.
I don't like to play bad rookies , I like to play good rookies - Mike D'Antoni

Posted by Pharzeone: Well you and me both bro, trust me. If it were up to me, I would have Gallinari in the game, but if MDA feels he shouldn't be playing because he's not in good enough shape to be playing then I can't really complain. In fact, it's good to actually see that for once. The same goes for Curry. "OMG - did we just go on a two-trade-wining-streak?" -SupremeCommander

Posted by SkyWalker: I hope I'm wrong, but I already feel like 2008 was a botched draft. I never liked the pick from jump. Again, I hope I'm wrong because I want Gallo and ultimately the knicks to succeed, but the red flags are glaring by this point. My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits/ So trust me I'm as live as it gets.
