The kid has an unbelievable motor and just passion to compete. He would be awesome in an uptempo offense where he could get out on the break. He reminds me of Camby so much but just not as freakishly gifted. Do the Knicks have a chance in hell and getting more Bull-****?

Aside from that do you think the kid can stay cool enough to blossom in the nba? will Chicago keep him since they make a big deal over there about nothing?

I've been a big fan of this guy for a while. He's Camby-like, but he can roam the perimeter and pass the ball real well like most Florida players. He's what Jared Jeffries is supposed to be, but is no where near being.

I saw him play up in the Dyckman tournament the summer before he helped win his first national championship....he came late.....showed up for his game in the second half. he was a ball of lightning. Everytime he got a rebound he bolted up the court to start a fast break. He was screaming at the crowd and everyone was feeding off him. The crowd also was dying laughing off his free throw shooting form. At the time I didn't know who he was. Well he ended up fouling out at the begining of the 4th quarter, lmao! Everyone thought he was dominican.

I don't care for him. He's not that good either, I'd rather have Lee. Another bad lottery pick by the Bulls.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Like his hustle and like you said - the motor, but I don't love him though - just doesn't have the complete game or overall skill-set you'd expect out of a top-10 lottery pick. Highly useful but ultimately replaceable PF that was taken way too high in the draft. On the same level with guys like Chris Andersen, Anderson Varejao, Robin Lopez - Robin Lopez might even turn out to be better. David Lee has a chance to be a better player (might even be better right now). I think Nene's another guy who's better... Even though they're not as big, I think I'd rather have Jason Maxiell and Paul Millsap too.

Some more comparisons from players on TV in tonight's doubleheader - He's not as good overall as Marreese Speights or Luis Scola IMO - both those guys have a much higher skill level. Scola, in particularly, has a very effective overall game - this guy, very quietly, can really sneak up on you with some good play at both ends... Noah reminds me of a younger slightly taller/slightly more athletic/slightly more skilled Reggie Evans - not much more than that.

he reminds me more of Anderson Varajao personally... i don't think he's got much of that Camby style game in him, he's more of a banger garbage collector in the paint.

A PF version of Balkman?

He's ok. His intensity fits into our system. He can rebound the ball and plays decent defense. He's not a star and never will be, but I'd rather have him than Lee and I like Lee.
