I really think as long as he's here, in person, whether on the bench or in street clothes, as long as his name is on the 15 man roster, it will affect this team. If he's in the game (and he's not) then the Knicks seem to thrive more. Since he's been off the game roster, it seems to be affecting these guys. He either has to play or he has to be gone.

The Knicks do not' play this badly. We already know how they can play. Marbury has a very strange and powerful aura about him that I believe is giving off negative energy. It has a strangle hold on these guys.

CALL ME CRAZY, but things like that do happen. You can just feel the tension with a guy in the office, who doesn't belong. Some of you have seen it.

It is clear to me. Marbury must go!
I'll never trust this' team again.

It's true! How many times do we all cringe when ever Marbury's name comes up? It's happened thousands of time by now. We never know what to expect from this guy. He has the aura that has no place on this team. I started saying it a couple of years ago and I still feel the same way.

The coach has put him in the dog house, Walsh is uptight about meeting with him and treading cautiously. Your not going to deny that the tension at times hasn't been so thick 'that you could cut it with a knife' are you? These things happen.
I'll never trust this' team again.

If Steph goes, that doesn't change the fact that this team is incredibly flawed and doesn't have enough talent to win a playoff spot in a much improved Eastern Conference.

The team is playing hard, but they are going to get beat when they play better teams. This is going to be a long process and there is no quick fix at all. Doesn't exactly help either when you essentially bring back the same team that won 23 games last season.

The funny thing is, Steph actually gives us a better shot at winning right now. And if we win games, then our players have higher value all of a sudden and everyone gets along. So if anything, one could make the case that Steph should be playing right now.

TMS is right. Marbury has to leave, in order for us to move on. He has always been and still is the main piece that has to go. I wouldn't even care if we only won another 23 games this year. If it meant getting rid of this guy once and for all, then I'd accept it.

And that's what I'm saying. But D'Antoni isn't going to play him. It's obvious. So as long as he is around, then it's going to be on everyones shoulder, all the way to that very last stink'n end.

I agree with you, if we aren't going to play him, mind as well keep him away from the team or just buy him out. Doesn't make much sense to keep him on the bench.

I think this situation will be resolved soon either way. I doubt Donnie is dumb enough to just keep Steph on the bench for another month. Either way, it won't make much of a difference, we suck.

Yeah, but at least there would be true sense of moving on, finally. When I saw the half time stats with Lee 1 pt., 1 rebound, Crawford 1 pt. and Zach with only six points, then that was saying something. Even Chandler had a low game to. I also think that D'Antoni's ability to coach effectlvely is being hindered by the Marbury aura.

Do any of you know what I'm talking about, this aura thing? It's a powerful thing. Mix that with the type of personality Marbury is and it can be a stressful thing.

It's a subconscious thing. How do you explain their way up and way down stats??? You also have to remember that Marbury has been here for five years now, on two 23 win seasons teams.

Any of you have a boss who's always looking over your goddamn shoulder?? Well, that's what it's like. It's annoying and we all know that Marbury has been very' annoying. Does that make any sense to any of you?

yes, when d'antoni coaches, all he's thinking about is marbury sitting at the end of the bench.
