According to a Mavericks source, the Blazers have not inquired about Kidd's availability; the Knicks certainly did, though offering Star Burst. -New York Post.
It's funny how this whole world is based on one dummy controlling another, and the leader dummy was chosen by a whole bunch of dummies.
Imagine if that trade goes down and the Knicks get the post Marbury bump that has happened to the Nets and Suns - and with Kidd being the swapped player again. That would be interesting, but I see no reason for the Mav's to pull the trigger and how would it affect our cap situation?

That would be a pretty great trade, Kidd would have worn out his welcome for that to happen. The Knicks would even get a S&T opportunity for kidd next year......LOL.

There's still a six millon dollar difference there in Crawfords contract (thanks a lot Isiah). Plus it's two more years longer and not an expiring.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Jason Kidd is just not very good right now. He puts up stats, but he makes the other point guard look like Oscar Robertson. He might be the leaue's worst defensive point at this stage of his career and I imagine Carlisle i havig a tough time with that. Not to mention Kidd's jumper was always bad, but now...
Obviously, Kidd works better for D'Anotni. I really do think Marbury is better for Dallas. But I can't see that happening, considering how much Dallas gave up for Kidd. A trade for Marbury essentially would admit a huge msitake to the fanbase and Cuban is way too proud to do that. I thought Kidd would send Dallas over the top, but it's made them worse.
