Zach for Hedo, Bogans and Battie

Dwight needs a sidekick down low...say hello to Zach Randolph....they paid for rashard and Mickey Mouse would love JJ Reddick to start getting minutes. Battie has a batman tattoo and he can block shots in practice.

Nice Eny, I was too lazy to start a thread off the idea. Thanks.

Hedo is too well liked down here. He is considered the heart of this team. No way they go for it. The deal you will get has to be for Lewis liked I said. Also, they won't give you expiring contracts in the big free agent year without getting 1) a first round draft pick or at least an decent size expiring contract from your roster. Malik's fit the bill.

Randolph, Rose and that conditional 1st round pick (top 3 protected) for Lewis and Cook.

Lewis is our clog (putting my Magic cap back on) and Randolph is your clog. But like that Nike commerical says my clog is better than your clog.

What exactly does Lewis do for this team? His contract is gigantic and would be more unmovable than Randolph's. That would be a terrible trade, especially by adding in a 1st round pick.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I am looking at it from the aspect of a Magic fan. I don't care what you do with Lewis that Donnie's problem. I am looking to get a PF and remove a bad contract and save me $3 million for 2010 season for some of those big time free agents maybe like Lebron. My advice is you should have did that Clipper deal if you wanted cap space.

Still Wilson and Gallo might both be better than Rashard and Hedo before its said and done.

The key word there is might. The fact right now is that aren't. The Magic have two 20ppg players and you are talking about one player who looks to have an upside but is only in his second year without any real exposure in his first and another player who only has two points on his career stats right now. I just gave you example of what Donnie will face with every GM he will call over the next two years. Why would a GM help you to only hurt themselves. This notion that there is some phantom GM out there ready to help Donnie out is almost ridculous. The fact of the matter is that the Knicks have 4 players on their roster with player options before the 2010 season and only one maybe expected to opt out. I can't think of one title contending team right now where PF is an issue and Eddy Curry is the difference maker for them except Cleveland and somehow I doubt that they will help Donnie out to get a chance at Lebron.

Where will this mystery team come from that will help take Z-Bo off Donnie's hand. I went through a list of contending teams (teams that made the playoffs last season) and I could only identify 2 teams that have a need for a Randolph. The rest of those teams have better options than Randolph and would laugh you off the phone.
1) Cleveland
2) Orlando

Warriors and Nuggets have similar options and may want not want any part of Randolph.

Teams that didn't make the playoffs that may have some interest in Randolph because they don't have any better options right now.
1) Bulls
2) Kings
3) Thunder
4) Bucks

The rest of the teams are racing the Knicks to 2010 and would want no part of Randolph or simply have better options like the T-Wolves. Now out of those six teams I could see the Bulls, Bucks and Orlando in a win now mode and may have an interest in Randolph. Contrary to popular belief there isn't this mysterious team out there that is laying in the weeds to pounce on Donnie for Randolph.

I don't think we should try to move Zach.

Instead, the focus should be on Curry & Crawford.

These two save more money than Zach alone.

Zach is a decent PF that we can build around, especially in D'Antoni's system.

Curry ain't playing and still, I think, could help out a team and get us a late first rounder/second rounder and 2010 ending deal.

Crawford definitely has value around the league. I've said it before that on a good time, he is great off the bench.

I said this before, that had Cleveland had Crawford, they probably would have advanced in the play offs.

We don't know how Crawford will fare in the play offs, but when you look at the regular season, he really does seem like he would perform well under pressure.

Of course, Cleveland went and got Mo Williams, but Donnie should be able to get a 2010 ending and first rounder for Crawford.

Both these deals may be 2 for 1's, so Donnie better be ready to buy some folks out a bit early.

Yes yes for Hedo and Bogans. I don't know about Battie, I think he is done. That means they waive 2 players.

Zackly.

And in addition, they don't bring what Zach brings night in night out. You don't know what they are going to do for the Knicks or to the Knicks. Playing those two is like shooting dice.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!
