I didn't expect them to win this game, but I didn't expect them to get blown away like that. We definately need Jeffries or someone who can intimidate underneath. Lopez would have looked good in the middle. He got two blocks and 8 rebounds in 26 minutes in his opener.

We had ZERO' blocks as an entire team.

The Knicks just didn't bring the numbers tonight and you add that onto Philadelphia's talent and it equals loss.

I gotta a good one for you though. The Knicks will' win the next game and they will bring the numbers this time.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Oh, way to hang your ass on that one. Knicks will beat the Bucks at home. What a prediction. The 23-win team from last year beat the Bucks 3 out of 4 times last year. They suck.

Anyway, Jeffries is not someone who will intimidate. Actually, Jeffries is a scrub. You probably forgot about how he has looked in his time in NY since he hasn't played in a while but playing in D'Antoni's system will not make some sort of shot blocking defensive monster.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

In the NBA, players win championships...Not systems...You don't win not playing defense...It's why MDA is no longer in PHX...Our interior defense is just horrible...Any team with a big man will kill us...

Didn't you get the memo? He is now more myth than man. Your eyes deceived you when you thought that Balkman outperformed him. Jefferies was just holding back and now that Mike D is here he will untap that hidden potential.

I am curious as to know why you didn't say this in the offseason or after the first game of the season. Please tell you didn't just realize this? What you're saying is true but we all knew this ahead of time. As for D'Antoni, I don't know. I don't think his system will ever win a title but if this guy can land us a supertsar free agent then I don't really care for now.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Players win games and championships, yeah, but you need a system to get the best out of them, don't you think?

While D'Antoni's lack of interest for defense may be reason to be worried, this is just game two of a two-three year plan. We have a system now, thats an improvement from out last seasons. We have a direction now. It may be unconventional, yes. It may make you wonder if a championship team can come out of that system, yeah. But as you said, players are integral in making a championship so the best we can hope for is to land a superstar like Lebron soon and get him the strongest team we can get him. Then, only then would we be able to see if the system with good players can get us to the promised land.

But right now its a bad time to talk about this. Probably 3/4ths of this roster will change in the next couple of seasons...

Well, the way I look at it. No up tempo offense, means no offense at all, along with no offense. At least they have a chance if they can outscore the other teams. Remember, a lot of us picked the Knicks to win up to 40 games this year. It's not going to be so lopsided this time around and there are expected losses to this season. Record wise, that is a great improvement. But more 'important-wise', we got something to actually see develop.

Looking at and predicting the record and stats (and anyone given game) is 'FUN'! The real goal is to see how our young guys grow. Take your pick.
I'll never trust this' team again.

And our defense isn't entirely hopeless. We are a very good steals and rebounding team, so that counts as a form of defense in itself.

It might interest you to know that 'I didn't even know we were playing the Bucks next'. It just came to me and I said it. I didn't even know we were playing the 76'rs when I said we'd lose. I did know that we were opening against the Heat though, when I said we'd win. And we did win. And I said by five and they won by five. So there. It just comes to me.

And don't ask me to predict anything for you.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Yeah, the usual roller coaster of emotions and attitudes that ebb and flow with wins and losses, some people do keep a crappy attitude even when the team wins a game, always looking for something to complain about, never happy with anything, how misery does love company.
