I'm siked by the first day of basketball. Anyone else siked and ready to go. Looking forward to see Celtics and cavs game. And Lakers-Blazers game.

I am much less enthusiastic about the regular season opener than I was the first preseason game.

Why? I see parallels to two season's ago. Same roster. New coach takes over for disaster coach. Players are happy. The mood is good. The team fights hard. Still comes up short but fights hard.

It's just the same thing right now until proven otherwise. Therefore my enthusiasm is tempered.

This team has to do a whole lot more to get me up for them than what they've done so far - something they've done in the past - only to wind up the same crappy team in the end.

So, we'll see. 5, 10, 15 games down the road they could change my tune with a good showing. Just not one single opening night to be. Nah...

I don't care about any other team than the Knicks so therefore I am not psyched at all. It's all football for me.

I don't understand the point of getting hyped only to be let down again(for the Knicks). We all know what we are. Putting delusions of grandeur in your head will not help the situation in the end. But do whatever you want. I just don't feel like seeing 20 Eny-style rants by mid-season.
