If this mofo misses any open looks he shall be booed mercifully in the name of Junior son of Ewing.

Since he is already tied with Curry with the team's lowest field goal % with .200, I'll say he's like saying "so what's you gonna do about it Eny? I getting paid biatch."

It is not Roberson's fault that Ewing has been cut but I can see him getting booed big time. This was just a bad move by the Knicks management. They never seem to get it right no matter who is running the team. We fans don't matter to them. They just don't get it.

I agree that this is not Roberson's fault. He's a young guy just trying to make a roster spot. Why put the blame on him? Good for him for making it. However, you gotto give blame to James for being an out of shape fooker and not caring. You also have to give the blame to Isiah for making up this messed up roster. We should have never been put in this position in the first place.

With that being said, we cut Houston who can probably only shoot, but is a better shooter than Roberson (Who can only shoot), and Ewing jr, who has better upside than Roberson. Our management must see a lot of potential in this guy.

So no blame to Donnie, heh? He signed Roberson to a contract after watching him in SL drills. After reports were being leaked out that he was signed and GMs around the league were laughing and using terms like "overrated GM" He gets the pass. After telling anyone who cares that he has absolute authority with the team. No blame for him.
Ok, I'll see how long you can hold this up.

You can't boo Roberson. He's part of the team and did not make the decision to cut Ewing. It was Walsh that did this. If you are going to boo anyone, boo James. He is the guy that needs to be cut. He is also the guy that is fat. He is also the guy making millions.

Roberson's in a bad position because some of the fans will boo him if he doesn't play well. There will always be those who felt that E. Jr. should have been kept over him. I just hope it doesn't affect him too much.

I'm with you. You know it's going to happen and I feel bad for him. But really. He's a young guy working hard and should be proud to make the team. And we should be proud that he works hard even if he does stink. It's the guys like JJ and Ec that really deserve the boos. they are the guys that take millions and then slack off. Why are we not frustrated with them? Allan Houston was viciously boo'd for being overpaid and yet he played his asse off. Why don't Curry and JJ get that treatement?

In respect to roberson, he's paid his dues and is good enough to be on an nba roster. I wish him luck but he just better not miss another open look!

Bip you kidding me? How many Craw haters are on this board? And are there any Eddy Curry supporters left? I hate eddy and his big for nothing ass. Also allan houston wasn't booed because he made that money. He was booed because he sucked. He was just a one on one player. His contract crippled the Knicks from making moves. Sprewell was playing out of position for him. He was a terrible rebounder for his size and couldn't play defense.....and he blew his load in 1999 and he didn't have another huge impact until the Knicks were knee deep in the **** hole.

Roberson - cut him some slack. He is now a Knick, a young player, and we should encourage him. I hope he develops and contributes.

But am I pissed that PE Jr was cut. Yes!!! But I still am pulling for Roberson. Kind of reminds me of Victor Zambrano, who the Mets received for Scott Kazmir. Zambrano played his heart out. He even cried when he pitched badly and was pulled. The Mets fans booed him because we gave up Kazmir for him. Terrible trade, but not Zambrano's fault. But the fans never let him forget, and he never recovered. (He also had arm problems)

We shouldn't boo Roberson if he misses a shot. He needs encouragement! so he performs well.

I disagree with you on Houston but fine. If that's your feeling, why don't JJ and Curry get the same reaction? When is the merciless booing going to take effect? EC is as one on one and one dimensional as Allan but where are the boos? Is it really not the contract? JJ makes 5 mil per and doesn't even try. Why do fans tolerate this? they look at him as a lovable puppy. Not some guy whose salary they are paying to play video games and crack jokes on the bench. Guys like that irk me. Allan Houston irked me to. But at least he worked hard. Can't boo that. If a guy busts his asse I don't boo them. I may want another player but I do not boo. It's the lazy fat, I don't care guys that I boo. But that's just me.

In the overall scheme of things neither of those guys matter much!!! So why should we get all crazy and bash Walsh? He's got far bigger fish to fry and none of that was likely to get done this summer. He made a call on a guy that like Jr. wasn't likely to play much, but if needed could help in spots. Roberson is a limited role player and was ahead of Jr. in terms of preparedness for the NBA. I would 've loved to have had both of them, but that didn't happen. I'm not gonna get all caught up over this.

Bip, you just confirmed it. You don't want the games anymore. Curry has been booed when he steps on the court. Come on you're better than that.

Haven't missed one yet. I watched the second NJ game twice. I've watched the games and those boos were very weak. Very weak. They don't start getting bad until he misses a few shots. It should be merciless.

For the record the fans should not be taking their wrath out on Roberson. It should be James. He is the one that should have been cut

I don't believe I said no blame to Donnie. I think signing Roberson was a bad idea. He gets some blame for this, but I give most of it to James, and Isiah Thomas.
