Complete and utter turn around from the first few games where they looked like two all star caliber players? David Lee 1-7 with 3 balls blocked? Come on guys????

It's called preseason. End of story.

You are not supposed to go gaga over a player who is playing well or lambaste a player who is playing poorly. It is just preseason and nothing more.

I'm sure they'll do well enough in the season but defensively that will be a terrible frontcourt.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Well, I'll say something that's been consistent throughout preseason. Their defense is AWFUL.

It could be as simple as other teams are now playing their starters extended minutes also. The fact that the Knicks lost the last two games does not bode well for the future. They cleaned up when they played their starters entire games and other teams played bench players and rookies for half the game.

I think we all know that this team is a big project this year and we're in evaluation mode. Once this preseason is done and we get to the real season that's what will really matter. Like any year I like to take it 20 games at a time and make judgments at those intervals.

You never really know what a coach is working on or not and what he has the players looking to do. You also can't tell if the players made a conscious effort to try and make jamal look good after all the bad play and bad press he's been getting. i think they let him get off more to build his confidence.

What happened to Lee and Randolph?

Crawford, that's what.

This is so eerily similar to two years ago.

Team plays hard, gets down big, fights back, blows final chance to win.

This preseason showed a lot of what we will see in the regular season: A 35 win team that has good nights and bad nights and lots of fight but just can't get over the hump.

It's a bad roster, it needs a lot of help, it's going to take a couple of seasons to get it done.

Well, we are all getting a partial dream with Lee starting. Now let's see if he can play D or it's going to be a shooting contest and you don't want Lee in that shooting contest (unless that shot really starts to fall).

Here's hoping the regular season brings on some D.

I've seen the same thing....

Lee did turn his ankle however - you never know how bad something is bothering these guys or if he is just trying to play carefully with opening night coming up.

I don't know -- I just see way too much of the old stuff with our core guys. They just tank so easily at the 1st sign of mojo by the other team. They also defend so badly as a team.

I'm ready to run the youngin's out there....

Its looks like their energy level. Guys are just coasting so it seems. Their intrest is lacking.

Miami is coming for blood man I hope Zach and Lee can wake up like Craw did.....marion, beasley, wade? Shit!

The defense was scary bad. At times it look like a lay up line or a shooting drill, and fouls look like bail outs instead of effort. Coasting may have added to the issue but you also use preseason to get your focus right and we look bad. Twice on pick and roles Zack stumbled into the ball handler causing TO's.

Lee will get destroyed when he goes up against some of the better big man in the league, and Zach and eddie are not smart defenders, as a matter of fact thats the problem with this whole team, they rearly talk, and they rearly rotate, and they don't get over screens( getting killed with the mid range), which make us a poor defensive team. Usually good rebounders block shots cause there good a timing and positioning, lee and zach have always made me scratch my head. The only aspect of defense this team can be good at is steals, base on there quickness.

Well Randolph should have a good match up with a younger version of himself in Beasley. Neither can play defense. Crawford normally has very good games against the Heat but Wade abuses him. Marion will be ok. No matter what, Knicks will get abused in the paint.

Really??? Is that the reason why Lee got his shot throw back 5 or 6 times???? LOL

I just watched that game and I have to say it could be a case of the team starting to over think, because everybody was off.

Well, it was one game and on one hand, everyone was calling crawford useless one night and then he scores 30. Lee has been much more productive and then he has a bad game at the same time craw scores. In the last two games, the Knicks have been falling off and I wonder if they are starting to buy into them not being able to win again. D'Antoni has a tough, tough job ahead of him.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Not as long as you have been holding onto Jamal Crawford in a loving caress...all the while listening to the tune of Baker Street.

Time to let go Anji. Time to let go...
