yoooo this is crazy I hope its not true.. either way someone in his family at least passed away.. very sad.. Isiah is a legand no matter what u think of what he did here.. wow

Isiah Thomas Taken to Hospital for Overdose, WABC-TV Reports

Oct. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Former New York Knicks coach Isiah
Thomas was taken to White Plains Hospital Center today after
overdosing on sleeping pills, WABC-TV reported, citing police and
unidentified people.
Police were called to Thomas's house in Harrison, New York,
just after midnight for a report of a possible overdose of a 46-
year-old male, WABC-TV reported, citing police sources. The
former NBA basketball player and coach is 47, the network said.
The incident is being treated as an overdose and not a
suicide attempt, WABC-TV said, citing police. Officials with the
Knicks would tell the network only that Thomas is fine.

Well you are what you are. Probably drinking while taking medication. I been rushed to the hospital a couple of times for similar incidents. And no, I didn't want to harm myself but I wanted a drink and forgot about my medication. I bet it was his high blood medication.

whatever the case, I hope Isiah is OK. Regardless of what happened here in NY, I was always a fan of Isiah the basketball player. I hope all is well..

Hopefully he ecovers and can move on with his life.

Surely, the demons that have been haunting him have been keeping him awake at night.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Wow! I cant believe this....This man was my idol. Growing up, I tried to emulate my game after him. After Magic, he's still the best point guard I ever seen. He was also the toughest. Thats why I'm surprised about this news. He was always so tough minded, but obviously he is going through some things.

This just goes to show that nor all athletes/former athletes are in it for the money. Obviously he cares, and the fact that he has been unsuccessful the past couple of years on and off the court has finally gotten to him. I wish him the best.
