where does Chandler fit in & why (let's assume all are healthy) or if there were a draft, how would you rank these guys & why? Note: this is not a comprehensive list & I left off obvious guys like Lebron, Durant, Carmelo. My rankings below:

Josh Smith 1
Thadeous Young 2
Luol Deng 3
Al Thornton 4
Chandler 5
Rudy Gay 6
Corey Brewer 7
Jeff Green 8
Julius Wright 9
Brendan Wright 10
Martell Webster 11
Yi 12

Rudy Gay is a 20 PPG young star. It's kind of hard to put Chandler ahead of him right now. I highly doubt any non-Knicks fan would.

Reasons:
I think Smith is such a game changing player & is a jump shot away from being a top 10 player.
Young ridiculous upside.
Deng - last year was an aberation, the kid can play.
Thornton = poor man's Dominique Wilkins.
Chandler - smooth as silk with everything you can ask for as a prospect.
Gay - really not a fan.
Brewer - any offense?
Green - solid all around player, but that's it.
Wright - will be the recipient of CP3 passes for years.
BWright - dude, have a sandwich.
Webster - seems so resigned to stay on the perimeter.
Yi - I think he seriously lacks BBall IQ.

Yeah, forgot Granger. My bad. I'd put him pretty high on the list. Really nice all around player (unlike the shot happy Gay).

Maybe I'm wrong on Rudy Gay. My perception is that he's a very talented offensive player who does little besides shoot 3's. I'll back off my criticism. Maybe I need to see him a little more.

Chandler has a long way to go before you can put him in the top ten. He needs to prove himself down the stretch during an entire season.

He just added the 3pt shot to his game last yr. He used to be primarily a slasher. Granger and Gay's stats are almost identical and Gay is 3 yrs younger.

not that i don't think Rudy Gay's very good, i do... but it's a little weird to see guys refer to 20 & 6 players on 20 win teams as stars but our own 21 & 5 player on last year's 20 win team is garbage... not trying to call u out on ur opinion about Jamal but i find it a little weird how the standards suddenly change when it comes to player on other teams as opposed to our own.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

That's a good list. Only thing is I'd take out Brendan Wright and put in Danny Granger then make Granger a little higher than 10. Saw Golden State play a few games this pre-season and I think Anthony Randolph's already a better player than Wright. Chandler and Granger are right there together, middle of the road, after Deng and Gay.

Granger shoulda been up there numb nut! lol

Al Thorton is the man guy that impresses me off that list aside from Gay. I'm waiting to see if Al Thorton can take his game to the next level with Baron and guys like Ricky Davis and Tim Thomas around.
