Rose and Chuckford to Milwaukee for Michael Redd who expires the same time as Crawful and is a deadly outside shooter but similarly woeful on defense. I would rather move Q-brick which also works but we have to throw them a bone. Thoughts??

Michael Redd is just as much a chucker as Crawford, except more efficient. Either way, that's not rebuilding. We don't need Michael Redd here and his terrible contract. We need to rid of Crawford for a short-term contract and simply release Rose.

I like the deal on a skill-to-fit-team perspective. Redd the deadeye shooter that crawford isn't. But it hurts us from a cap perspective. Redd makes 8 mil more than Craford in 2010.

Are the Bucks really looking to move Redd? In terms of fit for this team he would seem to be a much better fit. He is a pure catch and shoot player. I don't see it being a bad deal for the Knicks at all. He's likely no worse than Jamal defensively, so no big there. If anything he's bigger and stronger. I'd do it. I'm not in love with Redd, but he'd be a good fit for this style.

Jefferies & Jamal is the only deal i'd make for Redd cuz the dollars offset... not sure why MIL would do that but anyway i say no to your idea cuz it's just adding another cap killing contract on our already crappy situation... that type of trade is just going to prolong the rebuilding & net us even worse picks in the draft while we still miss out on the playoffs... what's the point?
