Stephon, Q Rich, Eddy Curry and Jamal Crawford gone.

I have love for Jamal, and I think Steph is still a very good player. But that is the core right there that just represents this terrible ass stretch of loosing we are in. Zach is putting himself outside of that.

Oh you can add Malik Rose and Jerome James onto that list.

I'd honestly prefer to just have a bunch of D-League prospects in place of the formentioned players and build up thru the draft, let Wilson start, let Mardy play...

true rebuild.

I'm pretty sure they're going to keep Marbury. And really, Marbury in a walk year will be all about business. I'd almost say start Duhon and Marbury in the backcourt and have the Seattle backcourt come off the bench and just have a true platoon (meaning each backcourt pair plays 24mpg and goes 120mph) with the two backcourts, but we'll see I guess. I think Jamal will be fine in this system eventually, he may need to play with Nate though - because next to Nate, Jamal would be the guy bringing the ball up and I think Jamal needs that on a regular basis to be effective.

I think QRich is a good leader, but I'd love to see Chandler and Gallinari get the lionshare of minutes at SF this year. I'd keep Q on as an elder statesman of sorts. Malik, too.

Eddy and Jerome can go though.

Q's already shown he can play in this system from his days at PHO so not sure why u'd wanna see him gone... plus he's 1 of the only guys who gives an honest effort on D most nights... Jamal i thought woulda been perfect for this system but doesn't seem like he's gone away from his 1 on 1 style game yet... he's 1 of the few guys who has some decent trade value too, so if we can trade him for an expiring & a pick, i'm all for it... those other guys need to go by any means necessary as long as we're not picking up worse contracts.

Q sucks. He has been on a steady decline. His first 4 seasons he was slightly abhove average PER. The last four, slightly below. Not a trend thats likely to just reverse itself. His best days are behind him.

Build up through the draft, are you not paying attention. Mardy, Nate,Lee,chandler,DG,forgot the other guy we just let go from kentucky. You have to completely suck, and completely get lucky to actually land a player you can build around, then your looking at another 3 to 10 years(see labron, KG, Malone, ect) before you can even compete. I have been saying this for years, Rebuilding is a crap shoot.
