Antoine is not one of my favorites but ending contract for ending contract Memphis saves a mm and Walker is a better fit for this style of play and gibes us another big while the other guys get ealthy

How 'bout Curry and Rose to Memphis for Walker and Darko? Curry might be attractive to them as a still relatively young big interior offensive threat they're undoubtedly looking for and think they're lacking (remember they were interested in Zach Randolph for basically the same purpose and came close to making a deal with us). Maybe we could even sweeten it up a little by throwing in Pat Ewing Jr. I wonder if Donnie ever even tried to work something with Curry as the centerpiece instead of Randolph with the Grizzlies?

Honestly, we should buy Malik out and let him go hook on with San Antonio, where I am sure both parties would be happy.

It would be the classy thing to do, and it would give us room for Pat Ewing Jr. or possibly Gimpy Houston.

Wait I can see 60% but not the full 100. I did reneg one minute after I thought about it. I think it's a good idea to see if we can use Rose's ending contract for one that runs two years if the player makes sense. We need a couple of things---I would like to try to win now if we can.

Of course you go out and try and win as many games as you can but winning games isn't necessarily that important to me this season. I just wanna see Lee, Chandler, Nate and Mardy continue to develop. I'd be happy to see all 4 of these guys turn the corner. And it's important to get Gallinari back healthy at some point so we can find out if he's a player or not. Plus, the more we win the worse our draft position is this summer and I wanna really maximize this draft coming up, esp. since we don't have a pick the following year. There should be more motivation to win games next year so we don't wind up just handing Utah a good pick. The winning's gotta start next season IMHO.
