rumor is they will offer him an $83 mil contract next year, tax free, all expenses paid and:
In that contract there will be an incredible list of benefits, a villa in the Mediterranean Sea, pay all the taxes at the expense of the club, to pay the bills for the staff and for a private boat for Kobe Bryant. The article also says that they are planning to form Olympiakos into an NBA style club with a court that fits 15-20 thousand seats and a private jet for the team.

Rumor is the key word. There is no league in Europe that would be able to pry Kobe away during his career. Lebron when he's 35, maybe. But this is too far out for consideration.

I am Greek and I support Olympiakos in Greece but basketball just isn't as big as soccer. Basketball is popular but there is no way they can pull in 15,000-20,000 per game. Still, I admire their efforts and I wouldn't count them out. The owners there have that Bill Gates dough and aren't afraid to throw it around.

When I saw the heading that the Greeks want him, I got some strange thoughts in my head.
