I think the Knicks should run 5 forwards and 4 guards (when healhy of course).

5 forwards:
Lee, Zach, Wilson, Jared, Gallo

All five can handle, pass, rebound shoot, run, and finish.....its a nice mix. They all can mix and match themselves up and down the 3,4, and 5 slots. All the guys are at least 6'9" so the size is just fine. The priority is to run the other team off the court and they should be relentless with this rotation.


4 guards:
Marbs, Nate, Duhon, Craw

I mentioned this before. These dudes are basically combo guards. They all play well in transition. They have great handles and passing ability. Jump shooting is a problem but the fact all 4 can pass, handle and finish its great. They all move at different speeds and are subtly different overall so it brings variety to the guard spot and keeps guys legs fresh.

I believe Eddy curry should be traded a.s.a.p.! I can only see him ruining the chemistry and flow. Too bad......are there any Malik rose types available for a salary dump trade?

I guess the Knicks need to hold onto some injury protection like q, collins, roberson, Junior etc.....

I think since there is no GM in the League out there gonna help Donnie(btw, **** memphis and the clippers)....let these guys out work, run, and coach the rest of the league. I believe the group I mentioned, if they can get healthy and stay together, they can make history.

I agree with running with forwards and guards only. We have no centers (curry & big snacks) who could keep up. By the time those two make it to the other end, the rest of the team will be heading the other way. Good call Eny.

I'm happy overall with the idea of using our Forwards. The only thing that concerns me a bit is the perimeter shooting. We really need Gallo and Q, Steph and Jamal need to step up.

Personally, I'd rather we try to get an intimidator (or a DOG, if you will) down low so we can prevent these layup drills other teams seem to have on us.

Yeah so.....as of right now, the Knicks need to continue to focus as I've suggested with 5 forwards and 4 guards.
Disadvantage is size and a shot blocker........so what? Advantage is speed and outside shooting. Not many teams have a center that will come out to guard Zach or Lee on the perimeter.....on top of that not many players period can keep both Lee and Zach off the boards. That opens the game up for our guards.

At the same time, hell yes the Knicks could used a goon. Take a look around the league and tell me who is available aside from Justin Williams(beat you to it).

As I stated before, no team in the league is gonna rescue our Knicks. In the meantime, the Knicks have to do what they have to do......so far I love what I'm seeing.

Howard makes close to nothing.

Howard is no longer mobile enough IMO. When Jared gets back I can see him doing quite a bit of what we need at the C position. Let's face it, we're gonna be playing small and it's more of our strength, so we've got to own it. I don't know if we're gonna be able to add a more pure shot blocker, but that's obviously something we could use. Right now tho, our best shot is to go with 5 Forwards and 4 Guards. That's the strength of this team and I think the more we play that group, the better they're gonna get at not only flowing on offense, but on defense as well.

Curry to Memphis for Antoine Walker or Darko Milicic

Yeah its frustrating. Knicks have to play bums like Malik, Q, and Curry until Gallo and Jared are ready......its funny how I'm backing up Jared now. I'm jut going off D'antoni. Jared is a good passer, ball handler and runs well. Its his finishing and shooting ability. If D'antoni as impressed with him then I gotta give him a chance. I'm just hoping the dude can come back strong from this injury.

Cuts are coming.....I think we can assume Roberson and Houston are out. Junior almost has to stay for the sentimental purpose.

Curry for Walker works for me. I like the idea of walker around Wilson and Gallo. I think both Wilson and Gallo could pick he brain of a player like him cuz at one time walker was 20/10/5 lets not forget. He's old now but he's better than Malik and adds depth for now untill Jared and Gallo get back.

I think Jared is a much better fit for this team at C. We need a guy that can rebound, defend and move the ball. Yeah he can't shoot or finish well, but with the lack of size we have, Jared could be a solid stop gap until we can find a better player to man the middle defensively.

I don't know about the Walker trade. I don't really hate it, but I would love to get someone younger and more useful. I guess that's asking for too much huh? I just can't take Malik anymore.
