Featured for a Trade?
7.6M Expiring...I sure hope the Knicks aren't following protocol and upset they might lose that contract slot - and are seeking to extend it by trading it for a 2010 expiring.

Much how Isiah panicked when he couldnt trade BOTH Penny and Antonio Davis --- so he turned Penny into Francis and AD into Jalen Rose to buy him another year to trade a massive expiring.

Again, the only thing a big expiring contract buys you is a player a team regrets signing to a big contract. Why would a team unload a GOOD player for an expiring contract? They wouldn't.

This is why I hate expiring contracts they have bit us in the ASS ever since Dolan pushed to dump Ewing instead of letting him play out his deal! Layden turned Ewing into a disaster of 7 players and over 250M of guaranteed money and then Isiah turned that disaster into like 14 players and 750M of guaranteed money.

Please for the love of god I hope we don't continue this practice.

i'm sure malik getting burn has more to do with jefferies, gallinari and curry being out with injuries.

Jr's a project. His jumper is brutal and he has a tendancy to get lost on offense. He'll likely make the team but they don't expect to get anything out of him before next season.

Jamal is probably the last player on the team right that will get traded. You can bank on that. You have Walsh and Mike D that like him. Whether fans like him or not he is not going anywhere soon.

I think Malik minutes will be gone once Curry is back in the lineup. Mike will only play 8 to 9 players.

always surprised that he gets away with it, even more surprised that more players don't use the same trick.

I remember Big Bill doing that to Ewing so many times. Ah BB smarts.
