I'm taking the approach that maybe I should just accept Marbury's character, attitude and focus more on what he can do in the D'Antoni system, no matter what he says. If his teammates and the management can stomach him, then I can to. The guy is an egotistical attention grabber, but maybe that's who he'll always be and maybe it's been wrong for me/some of us to focus mainly on his attitude and personality, rather then looking at the player.
Here are the latest top four articles that suggest that change has finally come and to see Marbury come forward and swallow his pride makes me kind of proud of the guy. FINALLY! The same sentiments as D'Antoni. The evidence is strong (maybe even overwhelming) and to read these articles is something we haven't seen in a long, long time. If you haven't read them on the opening page, then read them here. http://www.lohud.com/article/20081008/SPORTS01/810080393/1044/RSS0907 http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/knicks/2008/10/07/2008-10-07_mike_dantoni_hustles_to_rip_knicks.html http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/08/sports/basketball/08knicks.html?_r=1&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss&oref=slogin http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/08/sports/basketball/08trainer.html?partner=rssnyt&emc=rss I'll never trust this' team again.
