In my world things are already good No but really whenever the team has had it's moments of success this place is fun to be around. There should be lot's of new and interesting things to talk about with this team from this point on. The media policy is much more open and both MDA and Walsh don't mind talking and speaking their mind.

I want so much for the guys we've picked in the draft to find success this year and going forward. Home grown players always give me a warm feeling when they succeed. I loved the Yanks core players during the championship years and i'd love to see that happen with the Knicks.

All boards are great to be on, when the times are good. And even though you guys started it 7 years ago, this shiat started when Layden took on Larry Johnson's enormous contract and then signed Houston to the 100 mil. That's the curse. Isiah just perfected it further.
I'll never trust this' team again.

This won't happen to often but let me defend Layden. Ernie Grunfeld traded for Larry Johnson in 96. Yes the same and last year the Knicks were under the salary cap. Since then it was wine and dine at MSG. Money to burn.

This is a good point. It's no coincidence that these two events are related.

There's only way to counteract it is to make more "Ultimate" sites so we can curse other teams. Then we'll, at least, be equally cursed.

I think in Isiah's mind, we certainly had 82 victories last season, and maybe 85 the season before, when he said we're the best 33 win team in NBA history.

If the team ever wins a championship......I seriously believe the city is gonna burn! People will totally lose their minds. I remember 94 and 99.....people were running around like madmen after games.....that climax of winning a championship is gonna be madness.

Isiah's first year we made it to the playoffs. There was A LOT of hot topics back then- we made several blockbuster trades and were in "the hunt" for a good portion of the year. There were far fewer posters back then and the posters used to have more nuanced arguments then as well

I remember those times. Those were the days.

That being said. I remember posting with some of these guys back during the Latrell/Allan days. The conversations definitely were hopping and like you say, more nuanced. But guys back then were just as pessimistic as they are today. It was just pessimism with a different flavor
