Won't the Nets be rebuilding when they get to Brooklyn?

So I had a thought. Wouldn't LeBron rather come to the Knicks instead? Because by that time we'll have a core of players to build around and the Nets will have to adjust for a few years. I don't think James wants to wait any longer.
I'll never trust this' team again.

They may not even be going to Brooklyn with all these delays and legalese they're having,. A shovel has yet to strike dirt at that site.

nets have cap space to sign 2 big name free agents in 2010. who they are? don't know...but they can lure 2 guys to come there. with jay-z as a big time recruiter and established guys like thorn and kiki, they will land two big dogs.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jay-Z is gone by 2010. With the recent financial crisis, the Nets move is in great jeopardy and when thats certain, Jay-Z will be gone. He was only there to be with the team in Brooklyn.

That's a good point. Also, if the Nets don't come, then it's up to the Knicks. Chances increased. But I also heard that chicago was also trying to get him. So this is extra important to try and nab him the next time he's up for moving.

Maybe they can try to acquire free agent James Lebron.

Something that has been floating is this rumor that Lebron and Wade have some agreement to join forces in 2010 and their hopeful destination is NY. Don't see how that will work out but both guys have been downplaying the rumors. Wade coming out of leftfield talking about NY and he likes their 2010 plan and Lebron as well. Not even possible to get one guy at this point. Haha. These guys are just having fun waiting to get paid. Heat and Cavs fans aren't laughing though.
I don't like to play bad rookies , I like to play good rookies - Mike D'Antoni

That's why it's a two to three year plan. The team will be put together by then, the cap space will be a much better position of reality and Walsh has clearly made that point thus far. We are on the right road, we are going according to planned. And dolan will have to be forced by then to do some eating of monies, if there is anything that needs to be eaten, to get to the top level of a coherent and working franchise again.

This is why I thought Walsh and D'Antoni would be a great fit as the Knicks top two guys for our future. Enjoy this ride, because it's finally happening before all of our eyes.

For you's who are non believers (and I don't blame you) all I can say is 'notice what is being said and compare it to what is being done at this time and every step of the way. It's pretty clear to me. No major bone headed signings thus far (Walsh protecting the money) and these guys are currently learning how to run. And their buying into the D'Antoni system'.
I'll never trust this' team again.
