I'm not sure whether to be happy or pissed off about it. It still hasn't sunk in yet that I'm older than what... 80% of the league?

I know this is the age where you need to look after your physical health more so I'll probably look into that P90x thing someone posted about earlier or get a Bowflex or something.

If anyone wants to send me an authentic NYK road jersey as a birthday present, feel free.

I on the other hand do care about 30 year old people. Welcome to the club and happy birthday. In the coming years you will start to notice many things that didn't happen to you before:

1.) Bruises from doing nothing
2.) Aches and pains brought on by sleeping, relaxing and doing pretty much anything
3.) People are liars when they say you will lose a step. You will actually lose 4 steps.
4.) You will spend more time in the bathroom "reading magazines"
5.) Foods you once loved will now drive your stomach into hysterics
6.) If you workout regularly, do not stop or you will end up looking like Eddie curry

There are more, but I don't want to overwhelm you on this joyous occassion

30 sucks... you just older than everyone thats 20. 35 however is Nirvana... because then all the college girls label you as "mature."

Don't listen to him. You'll start to notice changes when your 40 and it makes life more interesting, because it's more challenging and it all starts to be more 'up to you' on what you wanna do about it. Good luck and more importantly, have fun!

No seriously, Im all for DJs remark about 30 being the new 21!!!
I mean if 30 was the "old, regular" 30 nowadays, I would suck really bad in life!!!
I mean Im a Ph.D. student who doesnt have kids, a big car or great financially secure job, who still loves to ball, chill with friends, travel low budget and is open for most things that make fun regardless of being "appropriate" to my age!!!
At 21, that doesnt sound too bad right, but at the "old" 30...

So to all that are 30 or soon become 30, dont be too down on it!!!
